Why bother with any of it  Just use the radio/cd player for music and answer/ make calls when at break/ being tipped. Whats the obsession with having to be connected to the world 24/7ā– ā–  Some seem to be attached to their phone by umbilical cord…

I think you’re being a bit extreme there. Personally I have mine to keep legal IF I need to take/make a call. Nothing more.

I just ignore the phone and keep it in the glovebox, the person who rang gets a call back when ive stopped for a break…nothings that important that it cant wait…

You just set off from a collection, its 4 hours to your destination, the customer has just cancelled the job, you drive for 4 hours with someone trying to contact you to stop you wasting 8 hours of drive time and the 200 liters of fuel that goes with it. You just crack on oblivious to the money and time you are wasting all because you don’t like hands freeā– ā– ?

Bet you also complain about low wages…

Different country, different laws but Massachusettes only allows one earpiece when driving, two would hid traffic sounds such as horns.

None of these allowed here in France , whilst driving

Head phones, earpieces, even Bluetooth

Seems to me there is more texting/face-booking/hand-held-calling going on in France than in the UK tho. Some of it is truck drivers, both French and foreigners, also commuters, taxis, vans, school-run-mums etc etc. I do see more kids loose in cars here than in the UK too. (I mean as passengers without seat-belts, not joy-riders).
