Car drivers misbehaving again…
Young 23 year old bmw driver = trouble. I travel the A140 alot and it still amazes me the risks car drivers take to get past you. Especially the one’s who drive Germany’s finest.

The joy’s of driving on this road were discussed here on Monday. Sadly there has been no improvement in it’s safety record since then.
According to the Eastern Daily Press website there was an accident the previous day at the same spot involving a motorcyclist and an Audi. edp24.co.uk/news
Let’s hope Mr HGV was sticking to 40, otherwise he might just get the blame for this death regardless of who hit who.
I posted abut this road a few days ago. It is a bad road and more people will have crashes so be careful

Not necessarily the car but the driver, at 22 I had an E30 325i, around the same age I also had a Senator 3.0 gsi and a Rover 620ti. All pretty fast cars but I never had an accident in them.

im sure plenty of members on here would agree with me that bmw and audi drivers do have a very bad reputation for their bad driving, but don’t get me wrong, i know a few people who are friends of mine that drive said cars and they are very nice people to be around, yet as soon as they get behind the wheel of their bm or audi they become completely different to the point where i dont like getting in. Its also something you tend to pick up on when your on the road day in day out.
people who buy these cars, buy into a lifestyle that is sold to them by admen.
young, sporty, sucessful go getters…that don`t have time to waste, stuck behind plebs.unfortunately, their skill is often lagging woefully behing their ambition.

Is the right answer. They think they are a lot more capable than they really are - not to mention also thinking they’re a lot more important than they really are.

And getting worse.
Was a time when the ultimate driving machine didn’t have electronic wizardry to keep the wheels on the tarmac, and utlimate driver flooring it out of greasy roundabout often resulted in spin up, spin out, wheeee crash.
Now the soddin electrics compensate for the plank behind the wheel…who as result really believes he is the ultimate driver cos he can power out of roudabouts without it ending up arse backards…
If you go on motoring forums you often see comments about rear brakes wearing out on their modern cars too soon…mention the (insert whatever fancy letters now stand for ‘‘keeping the idiot on the road’’) system that keeps 'em on track, when they think its their skill alone that allows 'em to put a full 250hp down on a greasy roundabout, and they go quiet.

I drive a BMW, E39 5 series, it’s had an intermittent ABS issue since I bought it which meant Traction Control and ABS were both disabled - it’s not intermittent anymore and hasn’t had ABS or Traction Control for over 2yrs.
193bhp, and it handles quite nicely on greasy roundabouts.
Yes it’s easy to spin up the rear wheels, but it’s also easy to control

To be fair Waynedl, i’d be might disappointed if a self respecting lorry driver didn’t have the feel through the arse of his pants for whats happening at the wheels, and the ability to correct things before they get out of hand.
£10 says the BMW overtook the truck into the path of the Toyota.

oddly enough its these people who are spinning on the line at crail (drag racing strip) while the ‘inferior jap cars’ are heading towards the other line. Or they could grow up. My legnum has 280 horses but i drive it sensibly. Just because the power is there doesn’t mean you have to use it all the time

No way. Its almost certain a speeding lorry over rided his limiter, over took a BM, the toyota took evasive action and hit the BM ?
