Good luck by the way, when is it?

Tesco and Stobart rule the transport industry, without them the Country would pop.

Of course it ain’t true. Tesco own stobart

You gotta go there to come back

Mr Tinkler and Mr William Stobart are buying almost all of Westbury’s property portfolio for £142m, a slight premium to the net asset value.

Westbury will then buy Eddie Stobart Group from Mr Tinkler and Mr Stobart for £138m, comprising £62m in cash and £76m in new shares in the revamped group. (News From 2007)

Er, where does TESCO get a mention …? “DOOH!” One needs to get one’s facts right, or indeed engage brain before fingers on PC keyboard!!

Without wishing to get too serious as I think the Tesco owning Stobart thing was made in jest. But many actually believe it. A company called Invesco own (or did?) a large amount of Stobart so people put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5. ‘It must be Tesco, InvESCO’. Shame they didn’t just google Invesco though, nothing to do with Tesco.

Sorry, seriousness over.

people not confusing Invesco had shares in Tesco?
CLICK here for a VIRUS

Nothing to do with finance, although Warren Buffet has bought a large tranche of supermarket shares.

The reason Tesco have ditched Stobart is because they employ idiots who keep turning up late with overheight trailers and forgetting Anderson leads

Or was it Stobart who ditched Tesco?
