I’m sure it’s called driving without due care and attention. A law which i’m pretty convinced already covered these dangerous hgv/lgv villains with their terrible mobile phones.
hammer:
How many wagons would ever go 90mph without blowing up? I was going down the Rhuallt hill on the A55 one day, doing 50 because it is a nasty old hill. I was passed by an artic that made me look like I was stood still. About three miles later he is pulled up on a sliproad with smoke blowing out from the front. Although he was a tool, I reckon he was ‘only’ doing about 75max - 90 is just a ridiculous, egzagerated, hyped-up statement by someone who has no credibility and who has already changed her story on a number of occasions…I think we all know what that smell is - Male Cow ■■■!
Didn’t 2 of the 3 trucks on Top Gear get to 90 once the limiters were disabled, off the publc highway, so that would appear to be possible.

I’m very aware of it. A truck driver was recently prosecuted for the very same thing recently after he hit another truck whilst having a conversation with his Mother. A conversation he had been having for 30 mins or so.
A few years ago it was legal as long as you didn’t make a mistake on the road.
Helicopers have been known to follow drivers to catch them eating a sandwich and they’ve been prosecuted. Yet we still have fast food ‘drive throughs’.
People have written their cars off whilst changing a cassette or a cd, no more boot changers though, they’re all fitted on the dash with cd holders readily available to the driver if he/she should feel te need to change the disc.
