Was loading today and was requested to leave keys on wheelarch of unit to avoid contact from others. Good idea I thought wait for thumbs up from loader then get them myself.
Nope loader picked up keys and handed them back to me in truck. I give up… 
Had to squirt all over them to be on the safe side.
Sure I use more alcohol gel on keys than meself…
again most of you are missing the point, it is a femail you are dealing with, there is just no reasoning or common sence applied.

I don’t see any problems in putting keys in plastic bags. No one touches keys except me.
Making an act out of it, reminds all parties to wash hands etc.
Making a big scene does serve a purpose: here we are thinking about, and discussing hygienic practises.
Yeah I get that, and I agree with you totally that it’s making us reevaluate certain practices, the point I was making however is that although the young lady in question certainly was not handling my keys she was willingly and unquestionably handling the same plastic bag that she gave me and I in turn gave back to her.
Now unless Sutton Scotney utiliise some medical miracle plastic bags that are Covid resistant then the whole charade was just that; a charade that served no purpose whatsoever.
I’m still working, and so far, it’s been pretty much 50/50.
Some places, have washing facilities, antibiotic hand gel, marked distancing areas on the floor etc, and lots of notices about distancing. Other places, dont bother at all.
Some places have the guy at the gate suited up, with mask and gloves, e en though he only needs to open the barrier, whilst the forkie has no ppe at at all. And takes my keys and gives them back…
Some places seem to follow the herd. Some seem to not give a ■■■■.

This is very true, who are we to take advice from…certainly not some office wad who has heard if you do this you will be safe. Their is controversy even with governments leading medical experts on this subject. My opinion is to think for yourself and use your own commonsense. I am now more obsessed with washing my hands every 30 mins or so. Like most H&S it takes away the thinking for yourself which is dangerous for most of us that use common sense.
