A friend of mine bought an fh13 480 from hanbury about 8 months ago, he has no qualms about them, and has said he would go back for his next truck. Went back to them with a small prob about tyres ! Yes tyres ! They were helpful , in any way they could be . It has paid off for them , like I said he is going to go back when he needs to renew it !

Thats a good point, I’ve heard of the workshops for a large operator who do their own maintanence in house being told to use cheap mineral oils in the MAN’s instead of the manufacturers recommended synthetic lubricants. The thinking was that as they only keep the vehicles for three years the mineral oil was good enough to keep them going until the trucks were moved on, and any subsequent failures years down the line wouldn’t be their problem

There are few main dealers out there who can`t be trusted either 
Harry dont if this helps but i was in dbs comercials last week and they had one of rversides in there the guy was saying all there trucks a checked there and anything needs doing its done
My old boss delt with him for over 25 years and his father with his father before that
And must of had at least 20 vehicles of him to my knowledge sometimes 6 at a time and never had a bad word to say about him and as far as I knew never bought a bad vehicle from him.
When you think about it to be going that long selling that class of vehicle it won’t be ■■■■
There’s enough come and gone in the last 30 years his been trading
A touch off topic but Stormort have their ex demo unit up sale £49,000 for an 12 plate with 65kms on the clock, a lot of truck for that!
