Hiya Trev,no it’s not one of “fast eddies” as there wasn’t time to be put through my “induction”,apparently the course is one week in the class room and then another week in the playground on the sand heaps!! and my uniform wasn’t going to be ready for another month! now come on Trev you know if you become one of “the elves” you have to dress like one!! Anyhow how did you guess I was getting free digs for spreading 100ton of planings on the car park?Don’t forget.picking you up at 7 am and make sure you have your No 10 shovel,I’ll need a “handy” lad as Banksman!!! Dave all my little black book contacts will most likely be “brown bread” and if not they most likely won’t know what day it is I know most of the firms i regularly backloaded from are no longer trading i do notice a lot of stuff running about with axles up and curtains tied open I never seemed to do many miles unladen a sign of the times I guess.
