That was probably until they knew better when they built the TM just like Willeme found out later themselves when they fitted Detroits in theirs.

i once came back from cherbourg on the earl godwin,came into either poole or pompei?can’t recall which.was a long time ago,may be a different vessel with same name?

Evening all, the old Fallings Park site, where Guys were created, (or the main portion of it), is up for sale, including the bit where ex employees reckon that some chassis were buried!!! Now there is a proper time team job!! Cheerio for now.

Don’t worry Dave! I’ve been tramping down the M6 all day in a JCB I borrowed.I’m parked up at The Hollies to-night,going to get a “flyer” in the morning and should be on site at Fallings Park for 8 am,am picking Trev up in Penkridge on the way! What are you expecting to find exactly? hope you haven’t got me down here on a wild goose chase?It’s a while since I’ve had a pint or two of M & B so maybe all won’t be lost!! Cheers Dennis.
