^ +1 Looks like we’ll have to dig another trench because it looks like it’s now a three way war.
Well “Carryfast” me old “china” here’s me thinking you were in Libya on holiday! I think both the Big J believers and the non-believers would call a truce and mount an all out joint attack on your “dugout” and then resume hostilities with each other at a later date!!! Cheers Bewick.
Too late for that because me and Harry have been doing a bit of digging under your trenches today and if I was you I’d start running before he sets off all the explosives that we’ve managed to put under your feet.

Just looked out of my window and the bloody sky is all lit up 60 miles away over the Irish Sea,lightning included.

But when they find out why it was that he did a runner (some idea about ordering an even bigger zb great big boat anchor of a Gardner in a Big J than the one it left the factory with ) they’ll send him to be detained indefinitely in Guantanamo Bay on the grounds of insanity and being a threat to national security.

The scary bit is that Dennis is probably just jealous that he did’nt think of the idea first for the ones in his fleet in which case they’ve probably got enough room in Guantanamo Bay for one more.

Oh! No! guess who? There’s a true saying “Carryfast” and I quote----“It takes one to know one” and the cap certainly fits you in this instance!! While you’ve deigned to grace us with your presence, have a butchers on the Welches thread,I think I seem to remember reading something about one of those "bags of (zb)"you promote only achieving 4mpg,on a good day!!! Very economical,I don’t think any of our Gardners ever dropped below 8mpg loaded every mile! Were you locked up in Guantanamo(by mistake of course) as well? I bet you never made much of them Al Queada guys but I bet you had them clamouring to own up to anything in order to get away from your “verbage” 24/7 in the next cage!!! Cheers Bewick.

You’re right it was probably twice as thirsty but it could probably haul three times as much weight three times as fast.
But some say that they got the information they wanted out of the taliban in Guantanamo Bay by telling them about some idea connected with fitting an even bigger Gardner in a Big J.The UN later classed it as a form of torture because the taliban split their sides laughing when they heard it.

There is a post where someone reckons that he was running to Italy through the Blanc tunnel with a Gardner 150 powered Big J.Some say that’s why the Italians ordered the TM 4400 so they could get by the queue of traffic behind him climbing up to the tunnel.

It was probably “the gear” he was smoking “Carryfast” he was that laid back he probably thought he was driving a 150LXB and not the 110 Scania he was really driving, don’t you think? Even I’ wouldn’t have been “sick enough” to send a bloke to Italy in those days with a 150 Gardner under the bonnet------well maybe I’d make an exception in your case!!! Dennis.
