I had a D reg Foden with a 320 Gardner and it was 1 of the best motors i`ve ever had it could pull,not too fast though

k guys another way to prove of it is to ask one of scottish western bus drivers that run out of kilmarnock

no one could look at them till smith of maddiston got the guys with the 240 …

just don’t look at the back you can tell by the gear stick what engine and gearbox it had

i know i learned on one when i was 16

Great days when truckers loved the job and new how to rope and sheet a trailer. sorry about going on so long but its nice to go back in time 39 years actually i’m 59 now.

Went on my second 7 hour drivers cpc the other week and i got a brief insight into our companys history■■? and i learnt how to pick things up with my back straight,i learnt about personal hygene and how to smile and be curteous to our customers and then our “trainer” told us how to tie a dolly but only verbally because he said hed not done 1 for years and hed forgotten how to do it but had a genral idea… like u said Dennis not a clue
