Hi Big Al,
Pic’s will be here soon. Here is a bit more info off the internet " keep the salt handy " .
Over the next few years, further designs were introduced, and in 1969 the 6x4 Crusader made its entry, initially as a high-power, high-speed motive unit with its modern steel cab. Many hundreds of a military version with the Rolls-Royce 305 engine were supplied to MoD as plant tractors and recovery vehicles. Pressure from UK hauliers, especially BRS who placed the first orders, soon resulted in development of 4x2 versions for premium operation, and so popular did these tractors with their Rolls-Royce 220 and 280 engines become that production was transferred to Guy Motors at Wolverhampton
Cheers Dave.

I would buy a crate of milk to share among you,if I was wrong.Do you more good than scotch. But I am confident that I won’t be buying anything.
I can’t recall any 4x2 crusaders earlier than a “L” plate as the "Samson " and the early demos were 6x4 s with a (carryfast) in them and earliest I can recall were on a “J” it was only mid to late 70s that they started building them at Wolverhampton “Guy” factory when they had run out of 240 percy’s to fit into big J s
cheers Johnnie
P S milk might be all right for you Dave but it would poison Harry and me so we will stick with the “Angel’s water” if you don’t mind
Aye and we know why you won’t be buying us ALL a drink Dave!!! because you’ll have gone into hiding!!! Dennis.
