So hang on. Taking home 430a week is good?
No nights out,no Sunday working
A fixed rolling 3 week rota of 2 x 5 days then 1 x 4 day week so 3 days off together every month.
Salary pay so fixed amount regardless of if you only do 40hrs on your 4 day week.
No use of PAO at all.
Break it all down and it works out @ £12.58 a hour, your right it’s a terrible wage.
So how much do you get paid for a saturday shift and what if you do nightshift.
We don’t work nights,Saturday shift is included in the salary.
WTF sod that no wonder no guts left in this industry

just give in you are wasting your time trying to explain because eddies lot are like the old trampers up north who used to ‘brag’ of earning great money then explain it included 4/5 nights out etc. etc. etc. I have looked but cant find the advert from the other week where class 1 drivers at ES were on about £8.70 an hour, but they get meal allowance and nights out and overtime after x amount of hours (think this only went up by a quid). and FYI the best Saturday rate I have seen round here is £14 unless your at royal mail or the likes.

Very true, unless they bang in 30hrs on the Saturday & £14ph
so would you like to inform that the picture is wrong? or perhaps you have a secret agreement where your paid £12 and everything else?
currently on all esl driving positions Salary: In line with Eddie Stobart drivers’ rates of pay which normally means ( ■■■■ ), if it is good they tend to state it.
war1974:
found it - these look like great rates and best £12 an hour hands down
That pays more than some companys in scotland and england.Seems to be like average now a days.A blame the older drivers for crap wages. My dad even said this all the running bent and what not for a crap wage. But the rose tinted glasses hide that drivers are there own enemy.By the way my dad has drove for over 30 years at least he could admit it.

that’s fine colin but Scotland is like a third world country regarding wages , and yes it is a very old school attitude of I get x amount and its all made up of sleeping in a cab money.

Nah, I reckon he’ll hold out till he stars in the next series of “stobarts heros” or whatever its called.
Mr Beaver just look at the trouble you have started, the more hours in your cab the less trouble you can cause on here I say
Good luck in the new colours mate, see if you spot me first when your in Ann Marie
I doubt he’s just dived in without weighing up the pros and cons. I know it’s only around the corner from home for him, which counts for a lot in my book.

He would save £50 a week in juice in that car of his even if he was 2 miles closer
