Do any of you recognise Hinge & Bracket?

Do you know these 2 men?

Well known man by well known ferry line.

Who am I?

I’m looking good with loadsa money,

My last truck from when I was last regularly heading down to Hellenica, looks pretty good considering all the years I trundled down in some right old nails

Off to work will try & scan some more when I’m home again.

Hullo Fly Sheet,
I don´t seem to know any of those blokes on there, although that could be Freddy Noble preparing his dinner with a hammer. But it´s near on 25 years since I was doing Greece regular.
Cheers, Archie.

At first glance it looked like Traniht but the cab is too tidy.Regards Charlie

Archie I did’nt realize your eyes were getting that bad that you dont recognise Les Phillips who drove for Fatty Fastlane stood by the footwell of the cab that had a hand grenade go off in it, can’t put a name to the man with a hammer but he looks familiar but it’s not Freddy Noble and I dont think its Freddy in the space cab either the grin is’nt wide enough.

Hullo Charlie ( or Charles is it now ),

Sorry mate, you´re, right, sorry Les . I am getting terrible at faces and names lately, I never recognised Tommy Redman in the first photo either. How are you doing now anyway ? Is the VW job turning out OK ? I do hope so, although it would be good to see you back in the Land of Hope and Glory :frowning: I shall be going home on 21st,May. and hopefully go back onto Ward Bros, doing Asda distribution centre to area depot work. I might see Graham McIver a few more times because I often have to go to Didcot depot. I´ll look out for you on the A34.
Cheers, Archie.

Roger

Hullo Roger,
I looked at the photos and I never as I said recognised anybody on there. but as I said earlier my recolection of faces names and places ain´t wot they used to be, I think I´m getting that thing that old people get, I forget what it´s called now. It was todster that said it was Tommy Redman. Maybe it´s because somebody´s taken the photo from the top of a Tilt, but I seem to remember Tommy Redman was taller than he looks there (if that is him). Mind you it´s a lot of years since I saw him, he was still at the farm in Ferryhill, and was doing a bit for Duncan Macrea, he still had his Scania, Misty Blue. Anyway it´s a long time since you were on here, I thought that maybe you´de emigrated or something.
Cheers, Archie.

Archie, nothing wrong with your memory that was Tommy Redman and Mr. Bashford, old age is just a number Archie regards Hughie

Tommy Redman & Mickey “Trotter” Bashford in pic 1 definately not taken out of an FL10.

Les Phillips & Mickey Jameson RIP pictured by the skip drivers cab, which was 1 of Tony Fastlanes motors driven by Brian whose RIP also.

John Patrick O’leary is in the Daf sporting shades. Well slimmer than Fred germangeezer well he was then!

Alex Ross in the ex Anglo Greek Renault.

Dennis “The Rat” Newley in the overalls by his F16.

Well done Toddster you got em all nearly which means I must know you.

If you finished 25 years ago Archie I’ll have never met you but never mind I may do yet.

I’ll put some more on when I can, I’ve got some from a doo a couple of years back so you can see the wear & tear!
