Don’t start me on THAT again.
Speed limiters + cruise control = nob jockey

So your faster than them uphill but he’s faster than you on the flat, your moaning he “undertakes” coz you can’t quite get past to pull back in, instead of moaning about it, why not just ease off a couple of clicks goin up hill as he is going to pull away from you on the flat, either that or just spend your entire time over taking each other

Wouldn’t that mean turning off cruise control? Don’t be daft, that’d involve effort.

i would of thought the bad driving is on your part for not knowing what your truck is capible of, you should know by your speed and looking ahead at how much distance you have before the top of the hill and the speed you are carrying past the vehicle wether you are going to complete the overtake before the other vehicle is back on his limiter. we have all done it, perhaps you should think of a career change if it worries you that much,
i can’t remember in my last cpc course any thing about the letting the pratt in that can’t make it past you on a hill, but maybe that bit was covered when i went out for a ■■■

FTFY
Most can pass me easily on the level as I use economy mode but if I’m loaded going up say Stokenchurch Hill M40, I’m not easing off just because someone can’t cope having a tipper infront.

since when would a gravity jockey overtake on the flat? the very term indicates a wagon passing on the downhill slope i e GRAVITY where did i mention being slower on the flat .try reading the post before spouting ■■■■■
the same aplies to the ■■■■■■■ who after you’ve moved over to let them onto the carrige way leave you hanging in the second lane making you slow down to return to lane 1 tossers
I had it on the A35 last year. Overtook an artic at the brow of a hill on a d/c. Then as the hill began downwards and the d/c started to be s/c…You guessed it. The a-hole started coming up the inside. Less than 100 yards with oncoming traffic. So I had to ease in. 5 mins later a phone call from the office saying he’d rang to say I’d cut him up! Wayne Kerr.

Well if you can’t get past him, he is obviously faster than you, which would make you slower on the flat, would it not■■? Looks to me your only trying to get past him for him to only have to over take you after your willy waving session of being faster up hill.
Either that or explain yourself better, coz I ain’t the only one who thought likewise

As they’re travelling faster than you, wouldn’t the safe course of action be to maintain your speed and pull in behind them (when safe to do so) rather than slow down and possibly inconvenience other road-users?

or maybe im overtaking him uphill so i can keep up my momentum then hes heavy and using gravity to overcome his limiter on the down hill bit and undertaking me does that explain it better for the hard of thinking

Maybe drop a couple of clicks on the c/c, and wait till a really big hill where you will get by, either that and be a ■■■■ with your new found friend and hold up the rest of us with much bigger willies, does that explain it better for the hard of thinking

Couldn’t have put it better myself, this fella wants people to show courtesy and good manners on the road but won’t ease off a touch to move back in, he wants others to slow down to let him in when that’s not needed.
Enjoy the middle lane as I imagine you spend a fair bit of time out there
