Gravity jockeys

the same aplies to the [zb] who after you’ve moved over to let them onto the carrige way leave you hanging in the second lane making you slow down to return to lane 1 tossers

can you see the bit where it says “MAKING YOU SLOW DOWN”
it quite clearly states in the highway code that you should allow an overtaking vehicle to safely complete the manouvere ,its a good book you should read it someday

In simple terms I was taught to maintain speed but don’t make it harder for someone to pass.

we all know that it happens, especially since limiters came in, so why get yourself in that position in the first place.
think, plan ahead and enjoy a relaxing ride.

Seems like your planning ahead went wrong. You should know what you are doing (your weight, power, speed, terrain ahead ).

Lets make it simple. If i’m fully freighted uphill and you creep alongside me, chances are you are lighter than me. I will not loose my momentum unless I really have to. The next problem is when you get post me on the brow of a hill, I’ll ease off slightly, probably flash you in 3 times before you decide to come back into lane 1, and when you do you’ll hit the breaks because you terrified to go over 51 mph. So then I will pass you, because i’m a ■■■■ who sits at the limited speed, or 60 downhill.

Easiest thing is, don’t creep by wagons at the brow of a hill, because sometimes we can’t be bothered with you worrying about going to fast, so we just go down your inside and probably never see you again.

Bang on there del. Very well said.
Furthermore I have noticed a LOT more drivers overtaking in those time trail lanes on dual carriageways recently. Now i dont 100% agree with putting the lane there in the first place but why do drivers over take in the them?! You can near enough hear the car drivers going mad and once again slating lorry drivers when they are sat behind them. The one on the A34 north near the M4 is a bad one for this.

mezzzz1211:
why do proffessional drivers insist on undertaking you after youve over taken them uphill ,not quite making it past, for them only to slow down on the next hill is it ■■■■■ envy ,stupidity or just bad driving do they practice to be such a holes or does it come naturally no wonder the e u thinks we need some [zb] cpc with theese [zb] driving hgvs

It’s no big deal and nothing to do with willy size. :unamused:

Why do some drivers have to be in a rush to move into the inside lane, at night when it’s quite as well?

You can both crack on and have a dual, sometimes over 20 miles or more. Why get stressed over it if your both making good time and the roads are quite?

I must admit, I find it more relaxing being limited to 52. I thought I would hate it, especially as my last 2 volvos at coltons did 62 and 58. But I think you’ve either gotta be going quicker or slower, otherwise the conveyer belt ■■■■■ you in

I admit to doing it once on that A34 lane: No big delay to anyone I was passing Farmer Giles who was only doing 20, peppering cars with mud. I suppose if he’d used the old road through the villages he’dve upset nobody… :unamused:

this thread started as a rant about discourtious "proffessional " drivers mostly becuse some a hole had partly undertaken me on the slip road (i was in lane 1) slowed down up the hill after id moved over then on the down hill strech undertook me ,really peed me off and after reading some of the replies on here i can see that a lot of drivers not only dont have much regard for the law but dont give a stuff for other drivers .
no wonder the jobs gone to the dogs

Oh dear, move on…■■■■■■ happens…and you know it will happen again tomorrow or the day after
