No you dont all you have to do is take a look - and give the Iveco guys as well as the T&D journo’s your honest opinion of what is in front of you,
You all moan your never given your say, well this hasnt even been officially launched in the UK yet- but they are giving you the opportunity to see it first- and even drive it
So why not take them up on the opportuntiy if you can - and once you have then pass judgement on it - it will be available at a number of truck stops over the next few weeks- if you get a chance drop in and give it a try- then you can post an informed opinion
Rikki-UK:
then you can post an informed opinion
That’ll be a refreshing change! Are the forum rules changing then?
i love the bit where you can drive it at rugby , at the nite owl truckstop …lol

Nope ! nothing wrong with constructive , informed criticism from intelligent folks - abuse from trolls will be removed- and idiots will just be ignored- just about the same as now then

Oh great.
Just waiting on the new thread. Do i need to take my digi card out to test drive the Iveco? Do i need to inform interpol of my intentions? What will VOSA say? Will i get an infringement? Arrrrrrrghhhhhh Beverley Bell, Run for the hills. Will it count towards the Working time directive?
Rather a Stralis than a lousy Scania…
I was lucky enough to have a good poke about in one today at South Mimms
cracking looking truck and a great interior well thought out
Shame i didnt get a goodie bag
So the interior hadn’t fallen apart by the time you got out then? Tres bon.
New Volvo has independent front suspension and dynamic steering, new MAN has electronic damper control, what does the new Stralis offer up to improve the ride?
I shall keep an open mind, might go to the CV show this year and have a root about for myself. It’s a truck i’d like to like but I still have flashbacks from when the windscreen wipers in the old model failed on a motorway in heavy rain though.
They could also do with having seperate truck workshops so you’re not competing with loads of vans when trying to book the things in.
Anyone else driven it?
There was a good number of drivers over the last few days who turned up to try out the new Stralis Hi Way- a suprising number who admmitted they were TruckNet members and heard about it on here. - some were never going to change their minds - but those who were open to see what was in front of them were impressed- we have a lot more roadshows to do, And if you can get along to one and have a drive or just a look around the cab-- its free after all, and your opinions and comments will be noted- next stop is Southampton on March 4th/5th
from reading the sticky about it, i take it, it was a normal run of the mill traffic planner that booked the dates and venues?
saw them at South Mimms today. What a waste of parking spaces.

Did you take a look or a drive?
Just wondering what you based your comment on?

New Volvo has independent front suspension
Surely every truck has independent front suspension?
