Gobsmacked !

Did a bit of bored surfing (chuffin dog has woken me up!) and came across a photo of my first tramper, my first home from home, about 30 years ago. Can’t believe I found a piccie of it !

Regularly forget the wifes birthday, anniversaries etc etc, but never forget old trucks

Back when Brian Kammel (Snakey) ran 8 x F12’s, an F88 and an F66 from a portacabin office at the back of his house, which conveniently burnt down the week the Taxman and man from the ministry wanted to see all his records, haha

(I wasn’t BJ or a Bear by the way, but I remember getting the unit fresh out of the paintshop, so BJ must have had the truck after I had spent about a year tramping in it)

Do you remember your first truck, AND the reg ?

Well used by the time I got it, it had a high ratio diff, no speed limiter and was a ■■■■■■ flying machine!!! I used to run maize germ in bulk tippers out of Cerestar @ Trafford Park over to Cargills in Hull every day… Oh happy days
