the old ones are class,the new ones just a bag of electronic unreliability.same as mercs (unlike the trucks) my old merc 250td sport has hitlers revenge on the plates,my new ex sweeny Tonka toy under conversion has…recycled u boat on the plates.definately made to last unlike todays versions.how could they lose twice and still make such good kit? .
Oh great I’ve got a A3 sportback 2.0tdi auto hope this isn’t the one with the dodgy windows and dodgy driver… Think the windows are OK…

What are ‘all the bells & whistles’ ye speak of on these big German cars? Auto climate control…check… Touchscreen satnav/DAB radio…check…blind spot warning thingymabobs…check…adaptive c/c…check…climate controlled seats…check. Oh, heated front screen for those frosty mornings…check. And pointless things like voice control…check. Mine doesn’t understand Berkshire!! Comes up shiny after a good valet (all finished by hand, by me)…check. 5th car in 17 years, 5th Ford, no probs, apart from a cam belt on a '97 Mondy
