I guess it depends partly on how old the person dying is. If you’re 90, you may not want to die yet, but it isn’t the tragedy of someone in their teens or younger!

I think I like the idea of ‘Nimrod’ going in and ‘Always look on the bright side of life’ as the curtains close on the coffin at the crem.

As a tear jerker, ‘Abide with Me’ has to be up there, particularly when you know it was written by Henry Francis Lyte as he was dying from Tuberculosis, and he died soon after writing it, so his words have real meaning of one facing that final journey!
