Well it all comes to us in the end and as I get older I seem to be going to more and more funerals and of late noticed there is less hymn singing and praying and more playing of the deceased favourite song or piece of music, mine I think would be " I did it my way" because most of my life I have despite on occasions being told no, so what is your choice, Buzzer.
i don’t give a ■■■■ what they play at my funeral , after all , i’ll be the only one there that can’t hear it . dave
Never really thought about it . Chris
Anything by Elvis and no hymns as I’m not religious
John Denver country roads ,and I’ve booked my plot which is next door but one and over looks the farm where I was born !
Home by Daughtry would be one of mine but I also like the thought of Together I’m Electric Dreams as a more cheerful one
White riot ,Clash.youtube.com/watch?v=IvG3is7Bm1w
being me I will have the saddest Scottish hymns/songs I can think o and hae them all in tears and as I go through the doors …SWEET HOME ALABAMA …one regret I willnae be there for a topper o a wake!

You can get bluegrass station on tune in online radio .
Louis Armstrong “What a Wonderful World” and “Stranger On The Shore” by Acker Bilk.
Or maybe Combichrist’s “What The F**k Is Wrong With You?”
Living in a box… .?
Going underground…?
this would do for me…youtube.com/watch?v=hI1nPd7hezM
I’m a bit of a traditionalist, so I’d go for Elgar’s Nimrod.
Failing that, either Mad World by Gary Jules, or Windmills in Your Mind by Sting.
No wonder my Missus thinks I’m sad…

And have them all just staring at the coffin, waiting for me to pop up…
About 4 years ago I attended the funeral of one of my long serving drivers Jim Varney and the music they played in the little Chapel at Kendal was Roger Miller’s “King of the Road” and this just summed Jim up, he was a true King of the road from the old school the like of which has more or less disappeared ! Cheers Bewick.
Most definitely “Its hard to be humble”!
Well Buzzer I don’t want to book up to early ,been told by my partner I can’t have my choice . Young Girl by Gary pocket and union gap.
I’m thinking about Ring Of Fire by Johnny Cash!!!

“Always look on the bright side of life” should be about right.
