Well done! Its a nice feeling to land a good full time job, i know as my current agency job has turned permanent. Felt like it was christmas when I was given a big box of uniform last week!

I take it you wern’t doin the school run then■■?, I remember once i collected my brand new Scany tri-axle decker coach for Euro work, was goin to France the next evening !! boss asked me to pick up the school run on the way back from collecting it, two hours later, £2500 worth of damage including setting fire to the back seat and pulling off the toilet door, never did a school run again after that.

Kids are very resilient, from my own experience of working away (to earn extra money in my past life) while my little one was growing up. She’s now 20 and at uni, so I think she has turned out OK.

I wasn’t suggesting anything like that Dean. Just that this driving lark isn’t great for any relationships then all of a sudden 10 years have gone by…you don’t get the time back. It’s about trying to get the balance right. Good luck with everything mate!
