If you re-read my post again! i have stated where i knock about. So if you are in Oxford it is down to you where you park and where you feel it is safe, or better get in touch with the local officer. As i tell the drivers when i speak to them, which is at the time there hours are coming up, i warn them about whats been going on and also give them my details. some of them move on to another parking area but on the A1 it is very limited.
It is down to the driver to plan ahead really

We have to park somewhere, we pay for police to keep us safe, so if they did their job, surely we could park anywhere that’s legal without fear of thefts or worse.

I get your point and i also think the same even though i work for them. I know you have to park somewhere and i know it is down to driving hours, but, and i mean but, in this day and age police cannot be everywhere but that’s another debate

Duh! It’s obviously a spelling mistake. A checked table cloth is laid on the grass and he sits one side while the diesel sits the other. They then share a nice plate of egg ‘n’ cress sandwiches along with a Scotch Egg or two, all washed down with a bottle of Ginger Beer.
