check this out and imagine what you would do to earn a crust if you were a flip or a flop…
call them what you want, but bugger me sideways.what would you do?
Always said it’s existence not a life, taking weekly rest in ■■■■ ridden MSAs or industrial estates miles away from anyone that cares for you or you care for!!!
Horrible life to have to lead.
all the comforts for 50 quid a week if your a slovak…makes the bulgarians mega earners at double that…in denmark a cheeseburger would equate to a days wages…
Wow, truck drivers being abused ripped off not being paid a fair and proper rate, and being treated like ■■■■ by their companies, who would have thought it eh?
Aint just East Euros though is it, that may be the worst case scenario, but it’s the same principle all over in different grades of severity.
well i was thinking if that was you or me,and that was the best you could do to earn a crust for your fam, then we would be classed the same way .
theres no way you can use a toilet and the like when there aint one in the places available to park.
we just see the end result over here.
they would see the same if we worked like that over there.
i mabey wouldnt want to sling bags of dung up in the air,but i wouldnt want to be using it as a pillow either.
1 pub lunch and 2 pints would be like 10 days wages down the spout
Fascinating piece of footage, thanks. As I’ve said on here so many times, “Blame the game, not the players”.

Yes, but whilst they are away for weeks, with little to show for it, and they get treated like scum not only by the public, but even their own colleagues (that is Britain based drivers…)…
Not a whole lot to be done about it though. Europe insists on free movement of people and services and won’t interfere with that sacred principle so wont put a stop to it.
Hopefully this film will bring it to the attention of parliament though and they will insist that the UK puts a stop to it when we are out of the EU. I doubt it will happen though.

So what’s different from the days when the Brits were travelling across Europe, flinging tacho cards out of the window, overloading, and running for running money?

I suppose the difference was the Brits weren’t doing it for peanuts.

Hahaha haha. …
As someone who started his driving career on the continent, the sight of a driver in a British registered truck, skint because he had ■■■■■■ his running money up the bar/down the one arm bandit on the boat, was a regular occurrence
i always made sure i came back with plenty of dosh, but i always had plenty of fun and frolics also.

and not specifically in that order.

This all day long!
Called scum and low lifes ect by some on this very forum These guys work for their money (what little there is) just to try to put a crust (literally) on the table. Money isnt always forthcoming either, pay is sporadic and some will be weeks behind. 1eur ph and the rest made up from ‘tax free’ allowances is the way many will pay…
