Just picked up an R series scania 18 months old, no hand book in the cab. Does anyone know how to get the freezer tray out? I can get the fridge tray out, but not the freezer, what’s the trick?
I’ll let you know when i get my brand new topline next Friday!
it’s the same as the fridge - there is a little plastic square in the middle underneath - the tray has a groove to accomodate the plastic underneath but when the freezer is in use you can’t pull out the draw because of the ice on the top, wait till it’s defrosted then you can pull the draw out.
the fridge/freezer will also switch off if the truck is not started in a 24 hour period - or if the batteries run low.
if you have a microwave as well then that won’t work if the batteries are low.
