Been told this morning to look on YouTube at accidently killed by fork truck, it’s a shocking video, but brings home the importance of staying in your cab, or totally out of the way, the driver was killed, I’m in no way being morbid, just brings things home to you…

If it’s the one in Europe with the bales of pulp paper it is not for the squeamish! Grim.
Don’t watch it if you are prone to nightmares.

It is easy to see why FLT drivers beep before every corner / door / etc.
It brings the realities home somewhat
Not going to watch that, seems a bid voyeurish. I know enough about flts to stay clear of them, ie Heavy!!!

Shows the importance of staying in your cab,would also help if the FLT driver had driven in a safe manner,ie load down and travelling backwards.

Not sure he’d have a choice. Manslaughter carries tough penalties. And with CCTV to back up his failings…
The FLT driver definately at fault for driving around blind, but unfortunately the compulsory wearing of hi-viz clobber is made out to create a utopian hazard free and safe envoironment, as a result people think they’re 100% safe because they’re wearing PPE and fail to look out for themselves and are unaware of the dangers around them, in busy places like that you need eyes in your arse.
