You are quite right, Geordielad. The A-series chassis only had the set-back 7LV cab or, in rarer cases, the 5MW metal Motor Panels cab.
ERF owners were prone to tweaking elderly units by replacing radiator grilles with those of later models. This occurred with the LV cab and again with the B-series and E-series. There were plenty of C-series ERFs with E-series radiator grilles!
