The first time I saw it was in Yugoslavia and Greece but it is spreading here now with piles of rotting flowers and signs hung from trees. If you want to remember someone, use the weekend to tend their grave or plant a tree at the crematorium.
They do make people take their eyes off the road and these families may unwittingly cause another fatality!
There is a Valentino Rossi 46 shirt hung from a tree near Tutbury, why? VR isn’t dead, the bloke who hit the tree must have thought he could ride like his hero, he obviously couldnt!

Nothing heartless or funny about it, I had that decision to make on the 4th February 2007. Grieving is a private thing not a zb advert to say ooh look at us, look how rich we are, we have a bigger roadside memorial than the neighbours dead kid.
Buy a nice bench with a brass plate on it and put it in the deceased persons favourite place, plant a tree or make a donation to their favourite charity or hospice. A brick built shed or wooden cross on the roadside does nothing for me. If you are of Greek or Russian orthodox persuasion I may agree with it, not on the side of the M40 at the Stokenchurch Cutting.

all over liverpool area either red n white or blue n white depending on there team with a footy shirt etc i think a lot of these are deaths through stabbings etc as to r t a even so it does need sortin out
