Flip Flop wearers

I knew a driver who used to wear flip flops,a wagon in front braked he put his foot on brake foot slipped of pedal smashed into back of truck and ended up in hospital for a few days .

I love my work boots more comfortable than trainers! Id wear them awe the time if I could but sadly they are not socially acceptable during weekend Funtime :frowning:

I went to Wyndsor’s. 28 quid from their work section. Called work zone or something. I’m a size 12, was sick of crap work issue things.

A rivet broke after about 2 months and they changed them for brand new ones, even though I walked in wearing them.

Replacement pair lasted 9 months.

Soles were still like brand new. Just a split between the uppers and the sole about 10mm long, so as I was a bit skint and asked work for a free set again. Feared the rainy season coming upon us.

Put them on at 2.30 am Thursday, threw them at the lad in the office before 2.30 pm Friday (night out) whoever gave them the name “truckers” should be shot. Can’t think of a worse job for them. Blisters all over the place, no mobility, no feel for the pedals, especially brake. Utter rubbish.

So they gave me a pair of “Click” things instead.

90% as rubbish.

Next pay day, straight off to Wyndsor’s.

These are what we get as standard company issue, can’t knock 'em at all.
Very comfortable.
