@eagerbeaver I can over analyse things, but sometimes I’ve found you have to let it go and accept it. and as I enjoy looking at nice trucks I can’t really complain about those who make them look good. 
and if you think UK drivers are bad you ought to see some of the italian stuff well OTT. 
I think there may be a grain of truth in the RDC Myth, but I’m sure it varies from company to company and when drivers in RDC’s started talking about money I normally blank it out, in fact I used to blank most of what I heard in RDC’s.
There are probably drivers who work for less to drive a blinged up motor, but not all and I’m sure it represents such a small percentage of drivers it would do nothing to drive overall wages down. The big players in the industry are the ones who policies affect wages, not a few drivers in customised motors.
