the agency who I worked for booked me for 3 shift at stobats in crick
they said stobarts is the only job they can book me on coz of experance
just before the first shift agency phoned me up saying stobarts have canceled coz you dont have enough experance but I have emailed them to get you on an assessment
5 mins later agency phoned again and said they want you back in there but only for tommorow
so when to do my shift; the agency gave me 2 wrong address so I turned up at 2 wrong site so i was 45 mins late
they gave me the induction for about 1 hour and then said sorry you dont have enough experance and sent me home
the agency said they wont be able to pay me for that one hour and said they cant get me back in there as I was late
the agency offered me 2 other jobs I accepted and they canceled

I will not be ■■■■ on like this

You can’t that’s just how some agencies work put it down to experience

You could offer to teach them spelling and grammar !

And lose the attitude, if you cannot find the company you are working for, then they may be reluctant to send you out looking for a customer.

Google is your friend, and Google maps are even friendlier.

If you got an interview from this application, think yourself very lucky mate!

Im throughing in the towel

Or lack of

I’m thinkin’ he’s not native UK, so unless you’re better at his language than he is at ours, then keep it shtum lads :unamused:

Unfortunately though, they are right, firstly, why had you not planned your route to the assessment in advance? It’s not rocket science and you are on the internet clearly.

And, they’re also right that some agencies are just crap. I was at DHL Brighthouse a while back, there was 3 of us there, doing the paperwork for our 1st shift, and one got sent home because he’d not had his licence 2yrs, even though he’d made that clear to the agency, they still sent him, wasting his time and fuel.

:imp: :imp: :imp: :imp:

so its my fault that the agency gave me the wrong address and post code
when I ended up at the wrong stobart site twice

I will be ringing the agency up ever hour after midnight with holding my number then hanging up just to keep them on there tows

Very professional response, suggest you get another job, like picking potatoes during the season …

edit … what’s a tows ?

I’d guess that he is native UK, just a little drunk, stupid or maybe both

And if he is not native then when I start posting on a forum that is native to him I’ll think about keeping it shtum :grimacing:

looks like they are not taking anonomus call or with held number at this time of night
but the ringing should wake em up :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Simple, Don’t do any work for them again , I wont be treated like scum by any agency if they try then i let them know everytime they call me to do a shift that i wont work for ■■■■■■■■■■ . Plenty of agecies out their keep searching for decent one.

you should have sobered up by now.
how much experience have you got?
if they keep turning you away, then why don’t you start lying?
the [zb]ing truth hasn’t done you much good.
are you an immigrant?

Sorry to disappoint you but phones these days can be set to only ring when the number is in their directory, because you won’t be the first to think of doing it.

For spelling and grammar these days, it’s almost to be expected.

However, most browsers either have built-in spell checkers or at least as an add-on. Then again, perhaps some people have just forgotten how to spell certain words

oh, and ‘tows’ is probably ‘toes’

Do the world a favour and pay them a visit like Arnie did to the police station in Terminator!
Do the world another favour and learn how to spell ‘experience’.

Is this a truck forum, or a teachers forum. Just wish people would stop putting others down due to there poor grammar not everyone is perfect

I would guess he got 36 pallets on the floor and the remainders would be on second level or on top

You are neither a boss or a driver are you?

Anyone that’s driven a triple decker trailer over 13.6m has got more experience than me to be fair.

This isn’t a teacher’s forum?

In the above posts, no apostrophe is required in the word teachers. Teachers is the plural of teacher, meaning more than one teacher. “Teacher’s” has an apostrophe to indicate the omission of a letter, indicating “teacher is” has been shortened to “teacher’s”. In the post made above, the use of “teacher is” is gramatically incorrect.

Besides, the poster was backing you up :unamused:
