I’m sure pretty much all of us remember the first day, whether that feeling be excitement or dread, whether we be thrown the keys and toms to crack on or be chaperoned with someone else.
But we all came through it.
I was in the “thrown the keys” category but in a way that kind of helped me as I had nobody to fall back on as such and had to help myself.

Edit, Did Benji go from car to Class 2 to Class 1 without doing any work in a Class 2 ? If so, makes some sense why he was a tad concerned the night before.

Been incredibly lucky today, had a really cool guy as my guide, made me feel really at ease, and also has a good humour too so was a big Big help, he should be paid to train in my opinion.

Straight from car to C1 bud, it’s hard but meh I needed to be earing to pay my dues to those would helped me…
Some say better not to do it that way, others the opposite but yeah I ain’t gonna lie I do think MAYBE I should have done a bit of C2 work first in hindsight [emoji22][emoji38]

Early doors yet, BUT we shall see how the week goes, be ALOT more on me tomorrow so I’m praying hard…
Sadly I really don’t think I’m gonna be able to go alone by end of week, so management either need to respect the safeguards in place, or I’m off.
Be a shame to go, as some good chaps there but it sadly really does seem no one stays with Stobarts, and it’s sad to me, but if they won’t play/adhere to their own policy’s and safeguarding then I won’t risk anyone else or me just coz they want work done, as I have, THANKS to this forum been given some very promising leads to other firms who will take me on and give me patience to be safe, last thing I want to do with low confidence/anxiety is risk being rushed just for a job, that will not happening, I won’t hurt no-one regardless.
