Slightly concerning that so many people have such trouble refuelling.

I’ll be asking which way to turn the steering wheel next

F-reds

The steering wheel is massive

…if someone wants the diesel and can’t access the filler they’ll just hammer the gauge unit out or put a hole in the tank !

Exactly.

Our firm don’t use any anti-syphon devices and we always leave the filler caps unlocked.

Better to lose a bit of diesel than to lose a bit of diesel and have to pay for repairs too.

I’ve said this before. I was shot down and told to ■■■■ off and do my job etc. Shock horror another driver says it.

Ad blue cap works for me. Just don’t forget to put it back on

2 pages on how to refuel a truck :unamused:

Wonder how many it would get to for checking tyre pressures  :smiling_imp:

Were you forced to read it all then ?

Not read it all, just added a bit to the forum

Well try reading it before you comment, it’s not so much about fueling a truck as a design fault that makes it take longer and be more of a pain in the arse, that’s all.

Some drivers ■■■■■ about ‘divebombers’, some ■■■■■ about the hours, or having to work on a normal bloody working day because it’s between the Christmas period.
The OP ■■■■■■■ about wearing a load of diesel because of a design flaw.

The MAN I drove I had to raise the body to get to the filler tank because it had a (P word for thieving nomad) pipe fitted. Disgraceful.

Why read it all before a comment?? That only encourages those to have a go because they can or twist a comment to suit their need. I think this may be the 2nd post I’ve commented on and instantly got a negative response :unamused:

I think refuelling should be covered in the dcpc!
