There’s a nice young lass at our Leeds maritime depot. When I say young, she doesn’t look old enough to have a licence! I think that says more about me getting old than her looking too young [emoji17]
I had a quick chat with her a few weeks ago and she sounded very switched on and amiable with it. That’s generally been my experience of lady truck drivers as a whole.
Male truck drivers on the other hand are a load of winging ■■■■■■■■ [emoji6][emoji12]
not keen on working with women , Fiona , Sunday sport , ■■■ tape brought embarrassment on company / drivers

There is a women that works for SNT and she is stunning, I’d love to double man with her alright
Pictures ■■?
Quite a few ladies at my place, in variety of shapes and sizes. One things for sure they can give as good as they get.
Bloody tapatalk, I was trying to come over less sexist but prematurley posted due to an oversensitive button.
At my old company we had 2 female drivers one of them joined us when she was only 20 and a very good looking girl she is and always turned heads when she drove into the yard, also a very good driver too. At my new place i think we have 2 or 3 lady drivers.
I wasn’t aware our place had ever had any female drivers. But an agency driver put me straight one day (one that’s been working there for years, not regular limper) currently a planner, was that bad, apparently that they had to pull her off the road.
This is a very good post, I don’t see many lady drivers, I worked with one on Gibraltar round trips, she did a blindside reverse in to a narrow entrance in one go in Gib.
The men took a dozen attempts including myself.
I used see to a blond in a Wiseman cow juice tanker, she wore black glasses and her hair done in pig tails, had that ■■■■ Secretary look .
I don’t see many Indian, Chinese or coloured drivers .
It seems to mostly white middle aged men on the roads, never see Muslim drivers .
take them off tautliners,Put them on ropes & sheeting for awhile,

Why don’t you try 1985, I reckon you’d do better then.
worked with one at asda - special treatment would be an understatement, I cant pull pallets, I cant open curtains, I have womens problems.
I have no issue with the whole good or bad argument but why should she have been paid the same as everyone else when she was only able to do about 60% of the jobs duties.
there seems to be a lot of hubby / wife teams in USA.
This again
I see a female driver everyday
Have see a few in my time not uncommon now
I have done night / tramping / days

lady truckers are one of the best things about our industry. It’s fair to say as with any other industry men folk can feel a bit threatened.
Perhaps men are more shy than they care to admit. I’ll happily approach a lady if everyone else is feeling awkward and be friendly.
It can be harder though as there’s the elephant of ■■■■■■ tension in the room but as long as I’m on my best behaviour I don’t come across as to much of an idiot.

More ladies around might make us back into a sociable race of folk.
Limpers might start washing etc.
That day I was in EK, the whole room (all about 10’ by 6’ of it) was all dead chatty and having a laugh. All instigated by the young lady from SNT. She was just friendly, not in any way flirty etc. I reckon that if she’d not been there, it would have been the usual staring at the walls like you were in the waiting room at the clap clinic.

See the odd one here and there. We’ve got one at our depot, she has a really bad reputation for not reporting damage. Nice enough girl but she does get all the cream jobs, the office does treat her differently. Don’t really bother me that much though. There is a women that works for SNT and she is stunning, I’d love to double man with her alright [emoji38]
I know who you mean. Huba huba. [emoji7] [emoji7] She’s got a nameplate on the windscreen. Think her name is Rhona.
I know her that is her name. Will say next time a see her she has a few admires.
She spends a lot of her time telling you what she’s cooking her fella for tea. Don’t think she’s on the lookout.

Did she used to work for Grampian McLennan before they shut up shop? I remember someone who looked quite similar to her driving for them.
