My last bike was a cbr1000 on a k plate, still dream about that bike :frowning:

The power on those is amazing.A good solid bike.
Yam Tenere.
Dt 125.

Always had bikes and changed them approx every 2 years for a change but currently have a VFR 800 last of the non vtecs and can’t part with it. It’s smooth. Great sound. Fast. Great sound. Plenty of power. Great sound and it sounds great too lol

image.jpgSome of my wildest times and fondest memories came on this ^^^^^^^^

But this one gave me equal pain, pleasure and heartache! I once worked out that it cost around £800 for EVERY competitive lap it did!

Fell in love with Suzuki GS 1000’s in the late 70s but could never afford one, so now I’ve got a couple of spare quid I’ve had a couple of Bandits-an S Reg 1200 that I had for about 3 years & now I’ve got a 3 year old 1250 all Evil Knievel’ed up !

Had this for 5 years although I don’t get out on in as much as I’d like to, must make more of an effort this year

Loved my 1995 Triumph Thunderbird. 900 triple with the loud pipes. MMMM :sunglasses:

GSXR1000 K5

the best of the best, simples :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

My 1997 CBR600F was brilliant as well.

Any Guzzi. But only for the summer

When it’s blazing hot, your on a day off and fancy going for a blast to the pub for a pint by the river, thats when a bike makes sense

My ZZR. Only bike I’ve ever really felt that I fitted properly

Not as much fun as this one methinks…

I had the k3.

I will never forget the day I picked it up.came out of clay cross powersports, turned left through the town and then let her have a bit :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

first production bike to feature radial mounted brakes, adjustable swingarm pivot, titanium exhaust and engine parts(valves…i think)and nitride coated forks.
iv`e still got all the mags from when it was launched.headlines read"the king is back" and “return of the king” etc.
0-60 in under 3 seconds, massive midrange and top speed of 186.
hardly suprising when you consider its power to weight ratio was nearly 1bhp per kg.
what a ■■■■■■ monster.
k4 was virtually unchanged

i always wanted an RG500 suzuki …mmmmmm… on tickover though they sound like four broken thermos flasks being shaken very quickly lol!!

each bike has a 2 year production run, so, the K1 & K2 were the same, K3 & 4 were the same, so on and so forth, they did, however, change he colours slightly, to differentiate between them

loved the arse…on the k5  :sunglasses:

Ewan Mgregor and Charlie Borman did The long way down and other long bike rides.Fascinating viewing.
Red tape at the borders, breakdowns and illness on route.
