Hello v7victor,
I know all those locations very well (there all in my ‘Neck of the Woods’).
Did you ever (on your ■■■■■■■■ Runs) go to the BP Depot at Dalston or Workington? Its just I sometime used to the lorries of the company you worked for at Workington’s BP Depot on hte Dock.
■■■■■■■■ Gill

Yeah we did a lot of work in ■■■■■■■ but not so much later as times changed ,but i liked working in ■■■■■■■ and just about all the companies and their owners on the thread i have delivered to in the past, one of who i’m sure you would of liked to of met!!!

Tell me you don’t mean me Vic!!! don’t ruin my evening all to-gether mate!!! Cheers Dennis.

No Dennis you will know who i’m talking about!!!

Hello v7victor,
Thanks for the info on the tankers.

P.S Gaz, what the hell is that livery, its awful. It’s looks like a rejected Bar Code sticker that has been stuck on because they couldn’t afford anything else.Sorry, but thats what it looks like.

They do not come much better that this … http://www.flickr.com/photos/erfmania/5631903747/in/faves-62553751@N06/
Classy with no green & red (never put these two colours together) to spoil the shape and detract the eye (IMO of course)

you wouldn’t be just a little bit biased Brian would you ? have to agree through that blue looks good.

that truck lives less than 2 miles from my house!
clive and dave have another project underway now

only fodens could have put the spare wheel there , i’ve used a few of them and it was a work of art to drop and remount them without trapping your hand . got to admit though they looked the part , dave

Just a tad mate as far as the livery goes, but I would have sent all Fodens to Africa & banned their sale in the UK as they were injurious to drivers health.

Rigsby that was a job for a fitter mate
Mind you remember the spare fitted to the F88/F89 slung under the rear of the unit ?

hiya,
I’m with Mr Chris Webb there’s nowt wrong with battleship grey, minimal lettering and a mucky/non-existant trailer No plate, now where did I put my logbook.
thanks harry long retired.

BACK TO THE LIVERIES
MTL HEAVY HAULAGE ABERDEEN, MINE IS THE ONE AT THE BACK AS USUAL

Marcus I was up in Aberdeen in August this year and called in to see my old friend Bert McIntosh and son Gary. Bert gave me a tour of the yard and I took a few pictures, the yard sure has changed since I first went in there about 36 years ago. regards Big Al

seriously? on page 7 did ■■■■■■■■ gill actually say some of their favourite liveries were ASDA, morrisons, TDG, and canute? there really are some cracking stand out liverieson some motors and these are the ones people notice■■? think i might change mine to yellow and black with an offer of “buy one get one half price on warburtons bread” on the side of the trailer, i mean blimey!

Hello will88,
ASDA (I don’t think so) but Yes, I did say Canute, TDG & Morrisons are some of my favorite liveries.
Whats wrong with them■■?
■■■■■■■■ Gill

hiya,
theres nothing wrong with them i just think there a lot of smarter liveries out there that could be on that list, just think personally they seem a touch boring?
