The thing is Carryfast, in the Rural parts we grow food and suchlike. And large parts of what was Warwickshire became the West Midlands, along with parts of other counties. And the Birmingham/Black Country urban sprawl is as bad as London and just as full of immigrants. Just like Leeds/Bradford and countless other places. As for rural Surrey it’s a horrible dive of a place and should be flattened for houses and an expansion of Heathrow as soon as possible.
The fact is there’s nothing in agricultural produce that can be produced in the freezing wet Northern and often Western parts of the country that can’t be produced better in the South East.As for the last sentence I think that’s the type of policy we’ve been subjected to for years down here. All because our councils and MP’s haven’t had the bottle (or often any affinity with the place ) to stand up to such ignorant bs being put on us by those in other parts of the country who are just out to look after their own places. However the definition of horrible dive fits the barren northern hills and many of it’s towns, not what’s left of the countryside and rural towns and villages of the South East.
In view of the need to build housing on higher ground and the fact that the weather up there is zb for growing anything except sheep which we can do anyway the loss of those barren wastelands in the North won’t matter at all and that’s where all the housing should be put and then expand Manchester airport to the combined size of Heathrow and Gatwick to help bring all the immigrants in to populate the place.
As for us down here,as I’ve said, you seem to have forgotten that they’ve already done that in what was Middlesex in addition to wiping out huge swathes of Surrey and Kent for London’s housing demands and it’s obviously solved nothing except turning those areas into an expensive urban sprawl where no one with any sense wants to live.
North from the point of view of the issue of protecting what remains of the countryside and rural areas of the South East from the demands of those NIMBY’s North of Watford who are all about putting all the country’s development requirements down here so that their places can remain untouched.
Carryfast has a Surrey centric view of the world. If it isn’t Slurry then it might as well be Outer Mongolia.
No just a view of the rest of the country outside the South East (not just Surrey).Based on the knowledge that our local governments and MP’s have been taken for mugs for too long and it’s now time to tell everyone outside of this part of the country that we’ve had enough and if you want to go mad by covering the place in yet more concrete then put it all in your own places not here.
I thought there were quite a few sheep in the South East, but IMO they are more intelligent than some of the local human population.
No names of course (even if a company of the same name used to do overnight breakages, aka parcels)

That would obviously be those of our local MP’s and councillors who’ve allowed the place to be used as a dumping ground for all the country’s development and population while the northerners sit up there in their barren, cold, wilderness saying that they want even more of it put here because they don’t want it.No surprise as soon as someone here says zb off and put it all up there for a change they don’t like it.
No CF it aint yer bent MP’s, it’s a member of Trucknet who’s jealous of Jimmy Saville cos he got all the young girls while that member was left out in the cold an got nowt …
Build all the houses in the south east and clog it all up.Then the foreigners won’t be able to get through.Anyone that doesn’t like it send them to France, plenty of room for them there.Send Carryfast to Detroit along with Suzi Quatro and her gang.
Plenty of land left in the rest of the country to grow food and keep the tourists happy.
Job done.
Thought Suzie Quatro still lived near Debenham in Suffolk, did when I last saw her there anyway. Debenham, theres a place CF should be jealous of, makes Surrey looks like the Gorbals of 20 year ogo

That was more or less the previous Labour Party policy when Prescott started on doing exactly that when they decided that their mandate oop Norf gave the fat zb and his supporters carte blanche to do what he liked down here.Just like Wilson’s lot and others long before him.Obviously nothing changes here regardless of which government is in power.

Windswept flat cold place we could put a few pre fab estates there too to help with homes for asylum seekers and all the other immigrant communities that need housing.

Savile is actually dead and many of the girls in question obviously weren’t worth having.
Whereas the Norvernors and the Londoners haven’t managed to wipe out all of the place here yet and that’s worth trying to do something about.

Goodwin Sands on a big spring tide at low water when you land 'em (preferably on a foggy night) would be the ideal place to put the illegals and asylum seeking terrorists

Just give em all the choice between tent city in the hills of ■■■■■■■ or self build pre fabs in Morecambe Bay.They’ll get just as wet whichever one they choose.
Why they could build more of them there than on the Goodwin Sands with the win win situation of the North taking it’s fair share for a change and to be fair my idea did give them the choice of tents in the hills of ■■■■■■■ unlike raymundo’s plan.
There has ,recently, been a gentleman of eastern origin in the news, him and his ilk I would willingly chain down to the Goodwin sands mesen, the rest would have a chance of swimming back to france
Intersting that CF picks on kent as being crowded in a previous post, just out of curiosity i had a look.
The Kent County Council (KCC) area remains the
largest non-metropolitan local authority area in England
with a resident population of 1,466,500 people in mid-
2011. This figure excludes the Medway Council area.
There are 4.1 people per hectare in the KCC area,
making Kent less densely populated than the regional
average (4.5) but equal to the national average (4.1).
Maidstone has the largest population of all Kent districts
with a population of 155,800 in mid-2011. With a
population of 97,600, Dartford has the smallest
population.
Dartford is Kent’s most densely populated district with
13.4 people per hectare and Ashford is the least
densely populated district (2.0 persons per hectare).
The population of the KCC area grew by +2,700 people
(+0.2%) between 27 March 2011 (Census Day) and 30
June 2011 (Mid-Year). This rate of growth is the same
as both the national and regional growth rate.
Maidstone saw the largest increase in population in
both real and percentage terms, increasing by an
additional 600 people
It appears by that , that although Kent has equal population density to average in some areas it has lot less in some others.
growthwise it is apparently is the same as the national norm.

Suzi Quatro was born into a Catholic musical family in Detroit, Michigan.

If you want to be selective.
Just like here concerning the population figures of ‘the County’ it conveniently forgets about all the development which took place and resulting populution growth before 1965 in those parts of the two counties (let alone what happened to Middlesex) which are now part of London. As they say lies damned lies and statistics.A comparison of our (ex) County Town and it’s borough’s population compared to Harrogate and what remains of Surrey, even after it’s been stripped of it’s most populated boroughs, having lost those areas to London in 1965,compared to North Yorkshire’s,says it all.
As for Kent the figures for the now London Borough of Bromley are a more representative idea of what the Green Belt policy is all about, and why it’s needed,in Kent just as much as it is here. The fact is the populations of London’s neghbouring counties have had enough of our areas being seen as dumping ground for London’s housing needs and as a way of keeping those barren underpopulated areas of the North for sheep.Instead of those Northern counties taking their fair share of the country’s population.
