Fair shout, I liked the picture, very atmospheric! Rarely see this now with lorry bans, weight limits etc etc etc

Hi Georgeyboy is that VTA 872S ■■ If so there was someone on about it some time ago, did belong to John Davies Southampton who sold it on the someone who sold it again apparently it ended up in Northern Ireland and was set a light ! Or fire bombed, If memory servs me right that’s wot it said !! That’s if it’s VTA

Hi Andrew yeah I just found a pic of VTA and it was red very similar and was owned by a Paul Perris after Buzzer Davies !

i seem to remember this truck lived in a carpeted garage . 
has anyone got any more info on this john c andrews f88 truck? reg no RFV 838T at one time it was local to me, it used to belong to j&d alsop of brassington in the early 90s
it was restored the first time over 20 years ago as a working truck and used to pull a bulk tipper, infact the colours are more or less the same including the stripes on the doors!
there are pics of this truck as it was at truckfest 1990
