Mine used to be on one of the horse forums and I never changed it. Think it goes back to a racehorse

I tramped in an old Magnum for someone, can’t remember who, loved the lorry. Was bigger than my flat in Manchester at the time

Cheers good friend found the magnum the same  cheers Ray

The swear filter wouldn’t let me use the letter F.

ETS = abbreviated from Euro Truck Simulator where I’m a successful owner-driver-operator-magnate and own dozens of blinged out Scanias, Volvos and what have you. Which made me think: hey, if I can do ALL that in a computer game surely it can’t be that hard to replicate in the real world?

Originally I found this forum years ago when I googled the age old question “Why do trucks elephant race?”, then some time later I signed up for the Peter Smythe 10% discount for forum members or whatever it was at the time.

Mine’s very cryptic. As the greatest truck ever made, It had to incorporate Western Star. As I hail from the Great Southern Land, I felt that appropriate also.
So, it’s settled, Western Star Down Under; bzzzzz, bowbooowwwn. The forum deems it too long. As is all Aussies’ wont, shortening long names and lengthening short ones, Western Stars are colloquially refered to, simply as Stars.
I’ll not insult you by explaining further.

I have Tourettes and 1 of my tics is that I stick my tongue out like a reptile trying to catch a fly for its tea, hence I called Lizard.

From the film Convoy… He showed no fear as he grabbed his gear and stuck it in grandaddylow.

I wonder how Switchlogic and Carryfast chose their user names ? Is Carryfast a famous industrialist who pioneered gas powered vehicles and owns Crewe truck stop and his European car haulage firm was called Carryfast, if you speak to him , allow three hours talking about the good old days and reminiscing, your tea will get cold .
And our dear old Limeyphil , he must be out by now !

Spent 25 years working for Shell at Teesport and Jarrow, and when i started the old-hands referred to the company as Joe Shell,as if it was a benevolent old uncle(which it was!)

I used to have a couple of German shepherds so used their names . Syra-max

a very small mobile hotel rob, and after a spell on the spanners at an ice cream distributor back in the 80s i am a slave to the chocolate covered loveliness, and they are not just for summer mmm, the cabs a bit tight for permanent double manning but good enough, and so much simpler to get out of with your bag when packed like sardines on the ferry,
