That should have read news, whoops

We had it here for the past two days now.

There was quite heavy sleet on the M40 last night in Oxfordshire. Driving into Warwickshire it turned to heavy rain and was dry when I came off to take the A46.

It hailed in Portsmouth when I got a chance in the evening to stand down near the harbour entrance, and it had been a nice clear day too.

Sods law eh.

Then again, my car is still running on winter tyres so not all bad

Get a grip ffs

Book me for a decent wedge or don’t bother - I don’t want any ‘last minute’ work covering some ■■■■ who couldn’t get to work 'cos it’s slippery!

“I could of course be encouraged to cut short my sabbatical for renumeration of augmented proportions”…

Last time I hailed, imagine my shock when I found myself sitting in a black cab!

Very cold rain?

Rain with bits in it?

Solid rain?

I hope this helps.

Hi all.Gogzy,if i’m not being nosy.Where are you when you say you get a foot of snow and function normally. It surely ain’t the UK,is it
At the moment we have about 1meter and yes everything functions normally. The temp has warmed up however it’s now only about min12c so its nice outside.Mike

were in scotland, i run up and down the a9 and the weather has been pretty good this year tbh, weve had snow, not really what anyone outside london would call much snow though and it never stopped us. last year was even worse and we still kept moving.

Hi Gogzy.Ok i can accept Scotland as being exceptional,i’ve done a lot up there in the past and know you can have horrendous conditions. But if you look on a map your’e at the same latitude as Oslo,Stockholm AND hELSINKI so it’s not surprising really. And the people are tougher  Mike

Of course snow in London town means that all sorts of money will be thrown at keeping the roads open, as we can’t have the southern softies not being able to get around can we?

Ken.

I’ll believe it when i see it, theyve been saying its gonna snow down here since last October

stop believing what the weather people say lol load of ■■■■■■

According to some of the papers today its “Siberian weather coming in and temperatures PLUMMETING to -1C.”

Last time I read about Siberia i’m sure it said temperatures were about -40C . -1 is just a bit chilly NOT Siberian FFS.
