I saw last week that the EU want to have the right to fine the UK if we dont stick to their rules when trading with them and it would be payable within the month. Would this be a two way street and how much would the fines be and who would set these figures. Maybe they could work out how much they’ve lost from our payments since we left and fine us the same amount . What planet are these lunatics on
Buzzer:
Well I have heard it all now that these remainers still cannot accept the fact that we are leaving the EU, are they really that sad they are going to try and remove all these 50p commemorative coins, if I was chancellor I would mint a few billion pounds worth as some allegedly are destined for UK based charity’s and another said he was going to save them all and bank them when we rejoin the EU but that’s if it does not cease to exist in the future which I believe will be the case, Buzzer.
Very peculiar story, agreed. So if these coins are given to a charity, they will surely be paid into a bank, and then, put back into circulation? Oh well, harmless enough, and a charity benefits.

If we sign up to an agreement with penalty clauses for breaking that contract? Don’t break the rules and so don’t pay the fines, easy.
I don’t see where the problem is?

No, the motive behind it is to stop anyone else other than themselves getting hold of one of these coins. Why? presumably spite because their side lost.
Absolutely pathetic, it’s saying: “it’s my ball and you’re not playing with it.” Even the babiest of children have usually grown out of this sort of behaviour by about the age of 9. The charity donation bit looks like some of the girls in the playgound have started chanting: " na na na na, little weed, go on run home to mummy", so one of the boys has come up with this in an attempt to save face.
As I said F and W.
I read in the British press last week that President Macron is demanding access to the UK’s fishing waters for 25 years, otherwise he doesn’t see anyway there will be a trade deal anything like the UK negotiators are pushing for.
Isn’t this attitude exactly why we should be exiting this evil, crooked EU “club”? can’t wait to be rid of the lot of them, roll on Friday as a starter!

Yes so do the EU agree to pay fines if they break our rules … probably not because they are way too far up their own arses to accept that one
Watching events unfold as we get closer to the exit day I think in reality nothing much is going to change trade wise at least not in 2020 after that it may be a bit different but when you look at it the EU needs to trade with us and vice versa, both sides must realise this and by then we may have deals with other countries around the world. We will have to wait and see what transpires but all this huffing and puffing by Macron & Varadkar and the like does not bode well for an amicable agreement, they must realise we are not under there control any more, Buzzer.

Your right Buzzer those J Arthurs you mention still seem to think we will continue to be controlled by them ! and we have a lot larger deficit on trade with the EU than they with us so I can’t see the German car makers playing silly buggers with their second largest market after the US. And it will be interesting to see if Italy of even Holland want’s out of the EU now we have broken away ! And as for that Irish prat well it looks like he is going to get blown out in the up coming GE in Ireland but whatever he has had to say is irrelevant and the Paddies in general should realise which side of their bread is buttered ! Cheers Dennis.
So we can soon ignore what our largest trading partners (the EU) say?
How did Buzzer and Bewick deal with the people they pulled for, or those they bought fuel and equipment from? Ignore them?
I suspect they dealt with them. Not jumping through every hoop, but ignore them? Doubtful.
New deals on the way? Looks like there might be.
If we buy the 5G system the Americans want us to, rather than one we choose, they will graciously dump their factory farmed, hormone fed, foods in our markets. Lucky us.
Obviously myself and Dennis did all right in our chosen paths within the haulage industry, proof of the pudding and all that. Every one has the opportunity in this country to have a go in business and how one manages that depends on how successful you become, its not an easy path and there are many pitfalls but you learn with experience and pay if you make mistakes.
On the other thing you mentioned about factory farmed hormone fed food from the USA you do have a choice if you do not wish to consume such products, if they are not so popular on the super market shelves who sell the majority of our staple diets then they wont be stocked simple as that. The main problem is that a lot of people do not or cannot be bothered to source and cook wholesome fresh produce instead preferring to have takeaways or ready made meals they can just put in the pinger, its not rocket science to eat well on freshly produced foods its just weather they can be bothered too take the time to source and prepare, Buzzer.
Except that the deal which will be forced on their newly liberated British cousins, will do away with all the safeguards at present keeping you free of the sort of unhealthy muck that the Yanks will send you.
British farmers will not be producing the wholesome stuff you currently enjoy.

Will you ■■■■■■■ Remoaners ever give up moaning and scare mongering !! Roll on Friday and I hope the song that is blaring out everywhere is “Queens I Want To Break Free” as well as “Rule Britannia” of course ! The UK will do just fine when we have extracted ourselves from that dung heap called The EU !! Cheers Bewick.

When you ask people in street surveys etc about ethically sourced foods, many support such. Of you follow those same people to the supermarket checkouts it’s often a different story.
Some may take care when buying a Sunday joint, but are they so careful when buying mince or a pie or pasty?
.
Oh, maybe I should also have mentioned about Trump telling us we can’t decide our own tax affairs if we want to avoid tariffs on cars we send to the US?
.

You really are sounding more like a " broken record" Franglaise , do you live in the UK by any chance or over the Channel ? if it is the former I reckon you should “do one” over to the Land of Snails and Rough Rouge before everything turns to ■■■■■ in the UK or if it is the latter well your OK my Son you are safe from the crappy food we will have to start eating on Saturday ! Oh good I cant wait for my first plateful !! But just to put the record straight at least for my part and the area I live in the North of England we buy our meat ( Lamb ,Pork and Beef) from both a regular Farmers Market and also a local Butcher in town and I don’t see their products deteriorating any time soon ! So let me get your prophecies correct which according to the Doomsters we will all be dead of food poisoning by a week on Friday. Doh! I must check that my Will is up to date but then again all the Family are in the same boat so that would be a wasted exercise I suppose ! So bring it on ! can’t wait till Friday ! Cheers Bewick.

Lets just say if your every day shopper cant be arsed to read the labels on food they buy then they deserve to eat this sub standard product, IMHO most of them shop for cheapness and don’t care what they consume but you can bet your life they will buy there ■■■■ before quality food, years ago before these huge supermarket chains most food was sourced from the local shops, Bakers, Green grocers & Butchers and the like but sadly a lot of these trades people have been forced out of business. Me I still support the local veg shop and butcher and get quality but then I have been used to that all my life especially as a kid brought up on a farm where many a meal was totally home grown.
As for Trump he is full of wind and ■■■■ and wont be there for ever, he’s alright until backed into a corner then he usually comes to his senses, only another five years of him and he will be gone and only he thinks he is the best president the USA have ever had, Buzzer

If as we agree “everyday shoppers” don’t read labels, and buy by price, then those who farm to rules allowing growth hormones, over crowding etc will be at a commercial advantage. Caring UK farmers could be in for a hard time, I reckon.
Trump out later? Fine, but the current plan to negotiate with him before 2021, seems mighty silly.
FFS caring UK farmers are already having a hard time something you obviously have no idea about and this is with EU subsidies which by the way I do not agree with, if say for instance a dairy farmer gets less for a litre of freshly produced milk than you can buy a litre of bottled water summit just aint right but this is the situation today, the biggest reason for this is the supermarkets who basically control the buying price of most commodities that they pedal in there stores, plus the fact you pay at the door but they don’t pay for three months in a lot of cases so they are effectively a bank.
The reason I do not agree with subsidies given to farmers is that it’s false economy, if you were for arguments sake running a hardware shop no one comes along and gives you a handout because your having a lull in sales its just not right to my mind, stand on your own two feet or get out of the job, the trouble with that is people here don’t want to pay a realistic price for good wholesome home produced food and if they did the farmers would not need the subsidies they now receive.
As for Trump no one actually knows what he is about, plenty of wind and guff but prudent people will wait and see how the UK in its new form after the 31st with Boris at the helm deals with him, we will see Buzzer.

So of our farmers are having a hard time now, in a regulated market, how will they be better off in competition with the US? Less animal welfare rules there, and the US Gov subsidise their agriculture too, you know!
Negociate a good deal in the next 11months? I hope so, but ain’t got much faith in it.
