“She does a decent job of filling a tight sweater”
ok… well nobody looks at the mantlepiece when poking in the fire
Good god, I must be getting old. Are you lot serious. Farmers de horn cattle to prevent anyone getting hurt, have you seen her teeth, you could loose an eye at a particularly crucial moment.
As for the mantlepiece bit, remember you don’t jump in the river when all you want is a drink. J S yuck kkkkkkk Harvey

Now that we won’t have EU citizens coming to work in the UK, presumably, we will go back to what we had before and import workers from Pakistan and similar.
Do you reckon they will be better drivers than the EE drivers they replace, and looking on the bright side will MSAs start serving curry ■■

Very good , but we won’t need anymore workers if you remainers are to be believed because we won’t have any trade . You know , the one where the EU say play are game to our rules at our price or we won’t sell you any of our goods anymore.
Now if you had listened to Boris instead of jumping on the bandwagon he said he wants to introduce a points system like Australia have where you can come here if you have the required skills which hopefully won’t be a wife 3 kids and no money and can only speak english when it suits them

Get the dole mongers out of there beds and make them do a shift anyways trade is not just going to halt mark my words we both need each other. The way the dialogue is going at the moment I can see us just walking away with no deal at all as the EU still think they have power over us but they have not had anyone like Boris to deal with before now and I really don’t believe he is about to get walked over, of course I may be wrong we shall see.
On another note last night I found a program on’t telly about Romanian gypsies who have come over here and are all on the welfare system, I found it hard to watch if I am honest as none worked and all kept saying how wonderful it was getting money for nothing, housing and numerous other benefits, one family were 22 in number and lived together. They showed pictures of there house in Romania where loads of firewood were still being pulled by cows no wonder they think the have hit the jackpot here, all have never paid into our system at all at any stage so how can they qualify for all these benefits and of course free health care, we need to shake that part of our system up and halt it immediately then there would be more money for the NHS and other more pressing needs, Buzzer.

I’ve been saying this for a long time Buzzer , they have paid nothing into the system but get a house money and free healthcare you know the healthcare that equates to the NHS which Labour have accused the Tories of running down (Blair was brilliant with it when he was in power) but in the same breath want to raise immigration levels. My mum and dad worked all their lives never on the dole dads gone mum as just been moved to a new home @ £700 per week out of her own pocket

Ramone if any of those Romanians walked into my health reception I would say to them go and take a bath as they were mangey & dirty, I would not have touched them even with gloves on, needed a good steam clean, Buzzer.
Ahh you are right Buzzer but the reality is far different !
On our last visit to UK (after paying a lifetimes U.K., N.I. and taxes, never unemployed and also employed many others), we phoned for an appointment with our previous G.P., only to be told a 7 day wait list and also with a non emergency situation we could not claim on NHS or Australian reciprocal agreements and would need to pay privately. He explained that down in Kent, he had many new patients who were immigrants and if he did not grant them appointments on NHS within, say 48 hours, they had people looking after their human rights who would complain to the NHS of his " prejudice " and failure ! Get too many complaints and he would be suspended pending investigation and consequently be out of business for a few weeks !
My wife, who was a nurse in UK also found that there was so much violence and abuse from immigrants wanting emergency treatment that, in practice, they got a lot of preference, just to keep the peace !
Again, those that have paid for the system are treated as 2nd class - those that haven’t, have their interests championed .
Hopefully, common sense and a return to old fashioned values will prevail soon though ?

I 100 % understand what you are saying and hopefully you are correct with the outcome but one thing will stop it and that thing is a word , a word used out of context regularly in this country whether it’s to get a criminal off or to get undue compensation or many other scenarios and we all know the word we hear it everyday racism
Well, once we are out of the EU we will far removed from their method of choosing Commissioners/Ministers won`t we?
.
Except of course that Zac Goldsmith, voted out as an MP at the last election, will still hold onto his Cabinet job as Environment Minister.
.
Anyone, of any view on Brexit, care to defend or condemn, this?

And the starey Nicki Morgan, will join him and the other unelectables and hang onto her job apparently.
At least when they wanted Alec Douglas Home to be PM, they made him give up the Lords, but then made a mockery of even that by putting him right back in it a decade after nobody wanted him at the next election.
I love this appraisal of the ridiculous situation by the Daily Mirror at the time:
A nice chap and a polite peer. But Caligula’s appointment of his horse as a consul was an act of prudent statesmanship compared with this gesture of sickbed levity by Mr. Macmillan. … Alec (not Smart Alec – just Alec) is playing chess with a Cabinet containing at least four members of greater stature, brain-power, personality and potential than himself. Butler has been betrayed, Maudling insulted, Macleod ignored, Heath treated with contempt, and Hailsham giggled out of court by the jester in hospital.

Not sure what you are saying but do you not want fully qualified doctors from India or any other country to come here. Would you rather have unskilled EU migrants that become a burden on the NHS rather than a fully qualified doctor from the EU.
Labour are having an enquiry into why they lost the election and performed so badly. Good old Blair as stuck his big ugly nose in , but to be fair to Corbyn he took Blairs advice and didn’t back the leave campaign. Now Blair told the country we should remain so the result would have been the same if he had been leader , maybe worse. Milliband has joined the investigation , ffs are these people really that thick ? The reason they did so bad was because they didn’t listen to the electorate quite simple. They could save a fortune in investigating where they went wrong by listening
Loving seeing the total unrest in France with rioting and the like as they don’t like Macron’s interfering with the pension age which I believe is 57 at the moment and they want a 30hr week FFS, don’t they realise that there are not enough young people who need to contribute more to enable this to happen, he wont be there much longer especially when he gets the fishermen on his back if and when we take back control of our territorial waters.
On another note some serious disruption in the Netherlands as well with massive protests from the farming community and the construction workers so not all honey & roses in those two member states eh, Cheers Buzzer.

No change there then with the French, but a 30 hour week and retire at 57 does sound appealing maybe a £25 a hour minimum wage too

“Peace and Goodwill” etc seems to have passed you by, doesn’t it? .
And this “total unrest” you refer to?
That photo appears to be from March?
There are demos and strikes going on I believe, but not to the extent to give much pleasure to you, I suspect.

OK Mr date perfectionist these two pictures are from December this year 2019 just in case you cannot accept the situation is a currant one, so many discontented French but this is there way if they cannot have what they want they cause havoc to everyone that’s why the EU does not work.
You seem to be more patriotic to France than the UK that’s for sure, don’t get me wrong I like France as a country just not the attitude of the citizens.
Germany fears drug shortages now to boot and the reason they do is believe it or not they import a lot of pharma products from the UK, this is a fact as we are involved a lot in the storage & transportation of this type of traffic all over the EU.
Over the years of my involvement in International road haulage we have suffered on many occasions through disputes in France, farmers fishermen and the like which has had a financial penalty which cannot ever be recovered but that’s the way things have been over the 40 plus years I have been involved in this Industry.
Now in the present day we also have to deal with the ever increasing immigrant situation, only last week we had some in a trailer loaded with fruit on a subcontractors truck even though the driver had done all the expected checks they were not discovered until they went to unload in Spalding, needless to say the load had to be condemned because of human spoiling a cost born by the hauliers insurance.
The perpetrators of this crime are getting more and more proficient at concealing immigrants to the extent that we have had a hole cut into the roof of a fridge trailer to gain entry and this cost over £4k to repair with no compensation so I wont be sad we have regained control when we leave so we can deport these unwanted visitors.
Now awaiting your critique which will surely follow, Buzzer
Just read an article about the EU parliament and how they have to transfer to Strasbourg for twelve weeks sessions a year and what a total waste of tax payers money this exercise is, the figures quoted were 736 MEP’s plus 3000 officials and staff a journey of 220 miles from Brussel’s there are approximately 4000 trunks for all the files etc and a fleet of trucks and vans for this operation, the building in Strasbourg cost the taxpayer 467 million in 2006 and lies empty for nine months of the year all because Macron and the French wont let this end.
This operation apparently causes 20,000 tons of co2 to boot, no wonder some of the remaining EU members are up in arms about this unnecessary expenditure to which all member states have to contribute and its time Macron and France should foot the bill for this themselves for this instead of laying the cost at the door of the rest of the members of the EU, Buzzer.
Before anyone jumps on me about facts and figures they are only what I have read so I cannot verify if they are completely correct or not.
You are “spot on” Buzzer about the regular moves between Brussels and Strasbourg and the blame for this monumental extravagance can be laid squarely at the feet of Le Frog and totally sums up what a shambles the EU really is. I can envisage the likes of the Eyties and maybe the Hungarians and Dutchmen being the next out the door. I’ve read about the Dutchmen being up in arms about the lose of access to our fishing waters they as will be really ■■■■■■ apparently. And what has really concentrated the EU Walla’s in Brussels minds is the landslide victory that Boris achieved because it was a right kick in the “acres” for them and our traitorous Remainers as there is no argument now as we have had our second referendum/peoples vote etc !! The message was deafening plus Labour has been decimated for hopefully 10 years plus. So as long as Boris delivers on his promises for the “Norf” that will suit me! Cheers Dennis.

Aye Dennis reckon Boris knows he has power now and I cant see him having any old truck from the EU and still reckon if they get to bolshy he will just walk away with no deal which really is what we voted for in the first place. And as you say think he is already thinking of moving some governmental agencies to the North to give them confidence he is trying to level the field of play a little, maybe 2020 will be a vintage year we will all have to wait and see, Buzzer.
