Its like pulling teeth ffs , because they didnt have a big enough majority to get a vote through parliament so May tried to get a bigger one , it didn`t work but like it has been said many times before she should never have been in power because she wanted to remain

Fair enough.
I think I get what you’re saying.

You’re trying to explain that it was a half-arsed idea that wasn’t thought through, by a government that felt under threat from UKIP.
To their amazement, Leave won.
The Remainers on the Tory side thought, ‘hang on, if we actually leave overnight, just walk away, clean break . . . we’re going to utterly fück up the economy, maybe we should stay after all’.
TM (probably a Remainer, as you say, but still a democrat) went to Brussels asking for a safety net.

How am I doing so far?

The reality slowly kicked in at Westminster that leaving wasn’t a case of out on Friday, start afresh on Monday. There was all these pesky legal obligations and contracts that business’s in the UK were bound by, plus the national obligations the government had.

A ‘clean break’ has been called for by Farage (and others on this very thread). Seems it’s ok to just walk away, take the consequences and deal with them.
A genuine question Ramone, have you ever just ‘walked away’ from legal obligations? If you have, how did it eventually turn out?

Hey Dexxy have you got a Brother or Cousin maybe that lives in Leatherhead, you sure sound like you might !  Bewick

I’ve waited 3 years for what happened on Thursday when poetic justice was very painfully shoved down the throats of the Remainers !! But more enjoyable was watching the demeanours of the likes of Heseltine, that little ■■■■ Bercow, Ken Clark, Gina Miller et al and, of course, all those 20 MP’s that jumped ship to the Lib Dems or went Independent, well they all got blown out particularly those two slimy ■■■■■ Grieve and Gauk !! So these mealy mouthed ■■■■■ that couldn’t accept the first result in 2016 have got a second dose of reality with the result of this general Election.
I also thought it was hilarious when the Pervert Hugh Grant canvassed for 4 Labour/Lib Dem Candidates including that clever ■■■■ Chukka Whatshisname and none of Grants gang got voted in ! Also that preening ■■■■ Steve Coogan got it stuffed to him Great ! But last but not least neither the two Red “Commissars” Corbyn or McDonnell will admit defeat but are blaming the Press and Brexit for their well deserved thrashing !. But anyhow I doubt we will see either of those two ■■■■■ on the big stage again ! But a bigger laugh will be watching who is promoted as the next leader of Labour and the sample of candidates that I have seen talked about to-day on tele will be worse than the two Commie ■■■■■■■■ that have just had their “clocks” washed and their arses kicked out of it. However all is not rosy in my constituency of Westmorland & Lonsdale as we are saddled for the next 5 years with a ■■■■■■ just as bad as those two Labour wallies---- Farron Ugh ! Pass the bucket ! Cheers Bewick.

The very people who were walking away from a legal obligation are the very same people who have been using scaremongering and slur tactics and delaying a democratically won vote by a majority of this nation to leave the EU an organisation many feel is corrupt and not fit for practice . They have tried every trick in the book to stop Brexit forcing Boris into a corner and his only option was a general election something Corbyn had been asking for but when it came to crunch time he didn`t want . The MPs of this nation seriously misjudged the feeling of the majority of voters and it spectacularly back fired on them . The MPs think they know best but England is in a mess and needs sorting pdq . Police need more powers , immigration needs kerbing , and the biggest problem this country has is drug dealing which is out of control and needs addressing now . Ma Kranky is now suggesting anyone caught with small amounts of class A drugs for their own use shouldn`t be prosecuted and she wants this bringing in in Scotland , this is the problem lily bellied politicians that can`t see further than the end of their nose and we have to put up with the consequences

You’ve missed your calling Ramone. You should have been a politician. That is one of the best politician’s answers I’ve seen. Change the subject, deflect the question, ramble on about something you weren’t asked about . . .

England’s in a mess? You bet it is. And you’ve just dug yourself in deeper by electing Boris.

A simple answer to your question is no i haven’t , but do explain how we will be worse off with Boris than we would be with the other candidates , Corbyn who wants to increase immigration from all over the world and borrow money to finance it and pour money into the NHS but by increasing immigration the. extra wont make any difference oh and another referendum because him the long time eurosceptic is now neutral . Then there was Swinson … say no more on her.
I will ask you a question now from past experience i know you dont like answering mine but here goes do you agree with Ma Kranky allowing class a drugs to be carried by anyone as long as it’s for their personal use?

Apparently the Liberal party or whatever they are called are trying to get Jo Swinson into the House of Lords. Baroness Swinson! ! The world really has gone mad.

That THING in the Lords: totally undeserving.

Dennis Skinner on the other hand; but whether he would accept is a different matter, as if the fact that he is 87 and still recovering from hip surgery.

No.

Buzzer:
If anyone wondered who it was who constantly shouted out “Stop Brexit” while we were all trying to listen to interviews outside Whitehall here he is, now redundant he’s looking for a new job now but has got a bit of a sore throat, Buzzer

Right at the get go when this ■■■■■■■ started bellowing he should have had a very hot potato jammed into his ■■■■■■■ mouth what a ■■■■ he really was but his gob ■■■■■■■ rants has got him nowhere—result ! Cheers Bewick.

Apparently this man is not redundant and is still at it even though allegedly Boris told him to put a sock in it, perhaps he should investigate to see if he is a tax payer or a dole monger and if it is the latter stop his money forth with, Buzzer.

She does a decent job of filling a tight sweater, but a place in the House of Lords? Are they looking for a new cleaner ?

I couldn’t have put it any better, it felt like poetic justice seeing all of the above getting their comeuppance after having to endure their’s and other like minded feeble individuals pathetic remain rhetoric. We British are a great Nation when we are moved as we’ve demonstrated by the result of this election.

As for Labour, I’m hoping they will go for the intensely irritating Rebecca Long Bailey as their next leader, she will do for them as Swinson did for the Lib Dem’s!

I reckon you could be about right with the choice of that deluded female to take over from Red Jezza because the big unions and Momentum have an iron grip on the Labour Party machinery now and they won’t be for letting ago so let them stew in their own Pish as they won’t be winning an election anytime soon like for years and years to come ! Great I say ! Cheers Bewick.

I couldn’t keep a straight face while watching the evening news and I suppose in the interests of fairness they put a shot on of the Lib Dem MP’s posing prior to going into the H o C, all 11 of the useless tossers. Well it was always said in the 50’s & 60’s that you could fit the whole of the Liberal Party ( as it was called then) into a London Black Cab ! Well not much change there then as they would only require a small mini bus now ! Cheers Bewick.

Not Sure I agree with all of you - but you can’t argue with the SUN

Rupert Murdoch won, get over it & 25p less than the Mirror

If you haven’t seen it go on ITV catch up and watch John Pilger’s Film " The Dirty War on the NHS" which was broadcast last night. The link, which clearly comes from a socialist website, exposes how showing this or even publicity of this was banned from television during the election campaign. Any opinion about the webite does not alter the content of the film.

Absolutely ■■■■■■■ disgaceful. My sincere wish is for the relevant decision makers to contract cancer.

I watched an old series the other week it was fiction from around 2002 called Bodies and it was written by the same bloke who wrote Line Of Duty and it was hinting on figures before patient safety , quite shocking.
I watched Sky News this morning and their political correspondent Beth ■■? was following Tory MPs asking why Boris had put a time limit on Brexit , they all answered as one which sort of ■■■■■■ on her bonfire as she was trying to get an angle on antagonizing the EU , the answer obviously was to give the voters what they voted for. Are Sky trying to become the BBC ?

She does a decent job of filling a tight sweater, but a place in the House of Lords? Are they looking for a new cleaner ?

Good god, I must be getting old. Are you lot serious. Farmers de horn cattle to prevent anyone getting hurt, have you seen her teeth, you could loose an eye at a particularly crucial moment.
As for the mantlepiece bit, remember you don’t jump in the river when all you want is a drink. J S yuck kkkkkkk Harvey
