QUOTE - “If only the Lottery numbers were as easy to predict as the first sentence of your post.
Of course it’s not the fault of Boris that his promises haven’t been delivered. It’s that pesky opposition. They’re at it again. Opposing. The wee rascals.
Boris makes impossible promises, promises that he knows have no chance of being delivered. But it’s not HIS fault if they don’t come to pass.”
dexxy57
You mean the same opposition parties who all said “we must respect the outcome of the referendum” and then did all they could to prevent it?

Well . . em . . yes. There was a Leave or Remain choice. There was no ‘this deal’ or ‘that deal’ on my ballot slip.
Are you confusing ‘Out’ with ‘leaving’?
Out and Leaving are two different things. You do know that. Don’t you?

My grammar school education must have been inadequate, I always thought that if someone was “in” somewhere and then went “out”, they’d “left”. Of course, if you are implying a different meaning of “out” that’s your prerogative, if that’s your thing, it was legalised in 1967

The bit between ‘in’ and ‘out’ is called ‘leaving’. How simple is that?
(I’m not trying to encourage a lot of ‘ooh Matron’ comments, but that’s your prerogative)

Be good to see how Scotland cope if they ever set up their version of the NHS , all that free movement draining it . But of course it won’t be your fault it never is when you can blame us. The EU have a good track record on bankrupt countries just ask the Greeks and Ireland , oh wait a minute didn’t we bail Ireland out with a loan . Spain ,Italy and Portugal are on the brink so good luck with your love for this corrupt organisation that started as a trade market but has now set its sights on ruling europe

If it happens, it happens Ramone. We’ll take our chances. It’s not looking like any time soon, but if it does happen you can be sure it’ll be organised a lot better than Brexit.

I honestly dont think it will happen , i have spoken to quite a few Scots recently and not one of them had a good word to say about Ma Kranky , one even quipped that she had reported Salmon for touching her ■■■■

You say it will be organised better than Brexit well Brexit would have been done and dusted a long time ago if it hadn’t been sabotaged by the opposition at every hurdle

Why oh why does everyone keep on about Boris breaking his promise to leave the EU on the 31st of October, he had a noose put round his neck and then the opposition kicked the box out from under him and left him dangling, I don’t like the deal he has and I wanted OUT plain and simple there was no need for a deal, clean break would have been far better and we would have dealt with the outcome for sure we are that type of a nation and done all that before. All I hope for now is that if he is returned to no10 he has a massive majority and then he can and probably will give the opposition payback and I hope with full interest, Buzzer.

Because he promised we’d be out. Do or die.
But as usual, it’s not his fault. And, as usual, it’s not the fault of the ‘strong and stable’ government that have had over three years to take us out.
Why blame the opposition all the time? The ball has been in the governments court since the Referendum and they’ve shown themselves to be completely and utterly incompetent at negotiating.

The stupid ones are the ones who voted for Ma Kranky as for your little bite it was one of your fellow scots who made the quip i just repeated it word for word it seems its not a united front up there after all Lets see who the stupid ones are if you get independence , you definitely wont need to warm up it comes natural by the sound of it

We’ve heard exactky this before from numerous of these buggers and they’ve been proved to be liars . There’s a placard going up outside my house specially for the election: “If you’re a candidate I want a word”

No. 1 There is no way that Scotland would be re-admitted to the EU otherwise there would be uproar in similar " breakaway" areas on mainland Europe which would also demand independence so neither France or Spain would be up for that !
No.2 If the Scots did manage to gain their “independence” they couldn’t join the Euro because they will be unable to meet the strict rules demanded by the EU because the Scots economy has one of the highest ongoing deficits in the Western World so if they did break away from England they would immediately find themselves up “■■■■ creek without a paddle”
No.3 So with no Euro what sort of “Mickey Mouse” currency would they adopt, surely they would not want the £ !!! and their “new MM currency” would be worthless in England so that would ■■■■ them up straight away !
No.4 And as 60% of Scots exports come down to England, their biggest market, it would only need hold ups at the land border on the A1 & M74 plus a bit of judicious “turning off the English tap” for Scots goods and Ooo! dear! what a pickle Scotland would find its self ! I bet Ma Kranky and her Ilk would go into hiding for fear of being strung up by '000’s of ■■■■■■ off Scotsmen. Oh! and I wonder who would cop for the blame if it all came to pass as described-----one guess----- the hated English ■■■■■■■■ -----why who else ! Bewick.

I’ve never met anyone in my whole life who ‘hates’ the English. What a ridiculous idea. Hating a whole nation.
I lived in the East Midlands for two years. Never met anyone there who hated the Scots (or any other nationality). Why use words like that?

Something for sure and that is that the EU hate the English right now just for having the audacity to ask to leave there totally controlling union, at the moment we seem to de inept but if had we had Boris as PM from the start instead of remainer TM we would have been out before all the opposition J.Arthers thought of endless ways of halting the democratic process and carried out the wishes of the 17.4 million majority that voted to leave, Buzzer.

No nit-picking going on at my end Buzzer. Referring to the UK as ‘England’ suggests an attitude that the UK is . . . well . . . just England.
No worries, we (and the Welsh and the Irish) have long ago gotten used to it.
Nice that you’re watching my posts, at least somebody’s reading them.
It would be nice if you could at least attempt some accuracy though. Makes all the difference.

12 posts on this one page should confirm what I said nit-picking at its best and in any case the original post by Bewick just said the English and this is what I was referring too and I think you understood that really, IMO it was a good post unlike most of yours where you constantly pick holes where there are none and although no one minds sensible and constructive views I cannot find much in your posts, just my opinion of course or am I on my own here, Buzzer.

Be Kind Dexxy

It’s partly due to the English Education system whereby children in England are not (and have not been) taught about any other nation of Britain apart from there own so they call Britain England.

They even teach that Boudica was an English heroine - even though that was years before the English crossed the sea from Germany to Britain (no Fridge Trailers in those days) :unamused:
