Just got of FB, Buzzer.
Absolutely disgusting that this morning on the news that arse Osborn is now, the persuading having failed, threatening the British people that he will punish them with tax increases and more austerity if we vote OUT. In fact he and call me Dave will be lucky to still have a job after this is over.
David
What about the Labour lot aren’t they extolling the virtues of staying in the EU yet we don’t seem to hear much in the way of those being slagged off or is this just an excuse to pour as much hatred onto Cameron and the Tory IN team and push to one side the fact that the party most on this site would have voted for in the last election have different views on this than the people they are supposed to represent. I’m no lover of the Conservatives yet I have even less faith in the current pathetic Labour MP’s that seem a million miles away from what the people they are supposed to stand for actually think and believe. When this vote is all over and as those on here think will be the demise of the PM and his crew who are you going to vote in and back?

Well have not voted for him before Franky but may give old Nige a go as he cannot be any worse than “call me Dave” and the ■■■■ leading the labour lot does’nt even register with me and if we come OUT which I hope for I think there will be mass change in the government any ways, when Farage was interviewed the other day he was very candid not to slag any one else off directly and he told the interviewer your not getting your next headline for the papers from me, Buzzer.

Considering that IDS zb’d off because he couldn’t stomach more austerity when we were in they obviously don’t need out to do it.The in campaign the ultimate example of being in a hole and their solution is to bring in a JCB to dig themselves an even deeper one.Let’s hope it’s the EU’s zb grave.

In the case of the Conservative ‘in team’,it’s hatred of a bunch of treacherous zb’s where it’s due just like zb Heath and Thatcher. While Corbyn is just a pathetic irrelevant commy so called ‘leader’ who isn’t even worth bothering about. As for who to vote for if/when we’ve smashed the EU and our Europhile government what’s wrong with a co alition led by people like David Davis and Farage and Liam Fox and Kate Hoey on the Labour side.
I’m old enough at 63 to remember the last in/out referendum and the sales pitch we heard for the Common Market being a great opportunity for our businesses to trade in Europe. At the time, I was working at the biggest carpet factory in Europe (if not the world), with a strong export market. Instead of increasing that market, the gates were opened to a flood of poor quality Italian carpet which was sold at rock-bottom prices. Within months, our company had begun the slide into eventual oblivion - as did many others.
I often wonder what the outcome would have been if we had been told the truth about the political aims, and had a glimpse into the future and seen the situation we have today where our country is run according to directives and rules coming from the great unelected in Brussels.
How is it that those experts giving us advice in the media can come up with such opposing “facts” about our future, in or out? These are supposed to be intelligent, well-informed educated authorities, yet the only real “fact” is that there are NO facts, it’s all speculation. What will the EU be like in another ten or twenty years? How many more poorer countries are wanting to join the EU, bringing nothing to the table except poverty and thousands of their citizens wanting to get out? According to Cameron, Turkey will not be admitted to the EU before the year 3000 - oh yeah? (And look at the trouble it’s got on its doorstep!).
I voted OUT last time, and I’ll be voting OUT again on the 23rd. I’d rather take a chance on leaving, after all, the Rest of the World is a much bigger marketplace than Europe, and it doesn’t tell us how to run our country. I’d also feel a lot safer knowing that that olive-skinned bloke sitting behind me on a plane has had his visa and other documents checked properly, even if the check-in process took longer.
Let’s get control of Britain back, and start to make it Great again.
Indeed, what might be wrong with a coalition as you say only people seem not to want that and in the Northeast in particular where I live the Labour party could be a bunch of shiny ■■■■, greedy, overweight ■■■■■■■■ (oh hang they are!) but the died in the wool Labourites up here still vote them in and can’t see that they do nothing for them only feather their own nest. I can’t think of one thing a Labour Government has done for me that was any different to a Tory one, in fact at least when Maggie was in I got a pay rise! Maybe it is time to look to the other parties and get out of this Tory/Labour rut we put ourselves in every election, but I won’t hold my breath.

You posted earlier you’re a non voter
Have you had a change of mind ?

Going by recent election results co alitions will be a necessity because the vote is too close to create a clear majority. While it seems obvious that the country won’t survive under the continuous tribal Tory v Socialist argument.Which is then just a case of finding common ground to make it work.So far the out campaign has shown that it is able to find that common ground especially as I said in the case of people like David Davis,Farage on the Conservative side and arguably Kate Hoey at least on Labour’s.All on the basis of what’s needed in putting the interests of the country and its people first and abandoning old obsolete tribal pre conceptions. It’s obvious that we can’t do that with the millstone of the EU Federal government system around our neck enforcing what’s best for Europe and Juncker’s agenda at our expense and at the expense of our national democracy.
Been thinking about how many UK citizens are really interested or bothered of the outcome on this very important vote, it strikes me very few who I have conversed with have definitive opinions on the subject. Most on this thread have been involved with the EU usually in the working mode so to speak involved in transport and all the rules and regulations enforced on us by the unelected.
As has been said on here all that we here is he said, she said and nothing that really matters, it would be nice to have more like Mr Farage who has first hand experience working with in the big machine in Brussels and I feel he knows far more about how they run this absurd organisation than most.
The British are so far out of touch especially our MP’s, they think they know what’s going on but really they aint got a clue and if we don’t come OUT the muck will hit the fan and we will be sat here saying we all told you so and the others will say no one told us this was going to happen.
Just hope sense prevails and hope the indicator poles are correct saying the OUT’s are in front but these are not really rliable so if any one is in any doubt vote OUT as if you don’t it may be the only vote you will make because if we stay in you will not be given the opportunity to vote again, that will all be done in Brussels, Buzzer who is voting OUT just in case there was any doubt.
Buzzer your first sentence said exactly what I tried to put across on my first post and I held my hands up and said I couldn’t decide because I didn’t have a clue not only about how the EU operates but also about who is telling us the facts, which up to today has turned into a complete farce, what was all that stuff about on the Thames today, how anyone who wasn’t sure could make a decision listening to the ridiculous antics that are going on now is beyond me. I believe the people you mentioned not committing one way or the other is because there is too much confusion now and most of the people in the street asked on television are just repeating what they’ve heard others say or have read in the media they really have no clue.
Now I know those on here like you have said vote Out but that was yours and others opinion for the reasons given and before any campaigns started, many like me who had no idea what was best needed sound information from both sides and as it turns out we haven’t had that. A very, very badly handled ordeal from the outset, sure I could tell myself to vote out because everyone on here says so but is that a real vote from me. I have every right to stand back and not commit but it seems this doesn’t go down well with some on here, I’d rather not vote if it was the wrong vote I’m sure I won’t be the only one either and besides I’ve got a bit more time to consider if I can just work out who’s not waffling. Cheers Franky.
Franky you are entitled to vote which way you choose or not at all that is your prerogative but if we remain IN it will be the last vote you make concerning issues for our once great country as from there on in those unelected ■■■■■ in Brussels will be telling us what and when we can do and make all our laws for us.
Too my mind the only way is OUT as I don’t want someone else making up laws and regulations that we Brits adhere to but the rest of the EU if they don’t like it they put it off and till it goes quiet and then don’t apply those laws.
Ask yourself if you stopped all foreign registered trucks entering our shores tomorrow just how many of them will hold a drivers CPC which cost OUR company thousands of pounds to implement, I doubt you would find many. This just concerns my profession but im’e sure it relates to many other businesses that don’t export to the EU but they also have to obey all these needless regulations imposed by these unelected gits in Brussels, it just hampers business and costs it thousands of pounds and in many cases persons have to be employed just to make sure companies are on the right side of the law, no wonder some move out of here and set up else where in the world to avoid all this red tape.
Have I given it thought, you bet I have and I am a pensioner now so what ever happens you may say it wont matter to me all that much but it will matter to my grand children. we already live in a multicultural society and the way things are going the true white man will soon be extinct. We already have a Muslim Lord Mayor of London just wait till we have a prime minister of the same religion there will be no stopping them, we need to curb and be in control of who enters and also who stays within our borders or there will be no hope for us originals.
So I know I ramble on a bit but think hard about what place you want to live in because we could be about to throw it all away if we remain and I for one would pack up and leave these shores should I be young once more but alas its too late for me and many others to do that who post there views on here.
Franky should you wish for this country to regain its greatness you should vote OUT as this is the only sensible way forward. Your vote, your choice but make it a wise one. Buzzer the OUT voter.
When I was young I had no doubts. I was going to build a transport firm like Athersmith’s or Brady’s (they were the Barrow firms of their day - 60’s and 70’s). My Dad had had a removals and haulage firm, before, during and after the war, but he had been nationalised in 1948, the year I was born, and Athersmith Bros. had finished up as the Government Haulier, BRS.
I didn’t build that firm. Bewick did - and I have the greatest respect for him. He carried his vision to become a great road haulier.
I did have a great life, overland and then internals in Saudi, followed ultimately by managing the firm I hauled for, Caravan Trading.
Now I’m old (68) I still feel the same way I did when I was young - we should be in charge of our own future. I hope I live for another 20 or 30 years. I don’t want to live those years as a cipher of ‘area 13’ which is how the unelected ***kers - sorry Junckers see us. Cattle to be milked daily, to feed their greater European plan!
I don’t understand this ‘well, we depend on European money’ argument. The EU has no money - except what it takes from member states. We are a net contributor, so we could spend that money ourselves, without filtering it through a system that is unaccountable!
Grump over!
John.

Are you serious. Let’s make this simple.
Is this your country and flag ( Scotland will have to speak for themselves but the UK is effectively finished regardless of the vote )
youtube.com/watch?v=-tW0QqiT2LU
Or is it this.

Bearing in mind we’re deciding for generations not born yet and there’s no middle ground here and abstain is effectively a remain vote.
Hell if we watch the news we are all doomed regarding exit of the EU, our houses we older ones have toiled so hard for are going to see a drop in value of 20%, we are going to go into a major depression similar to when the banks went ■■■■ up but we have coped with that, now the chancellor is telling us he will have to increase tax for the black hole that will appear if we leave to the tune of 30 billion (like to see him try that one).
The Government have had there opportunity to sort out the EU but “call me Dave” is such an inept ?anker and has no real spine so has failed miserably on that score, now I am wondering if voting OUT is the right thing to do NOT, NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE MY MIND NOW, OUT is the only way to go.
John West you are right perhaps we should nominate Dennis to lead our country and I for one would be in his cabinet if he were in power, why is it that any one who has been in business on there own account are so level headed and controlled when it comes down to common sense and economics. All these highly educated pratts who went to university and are now in Whitehall telling us all what to do have not an ounce of management in them, when I was in charge of my company (now retired) I knew exactly how to get the best out of the men that worked for me, some like going to Spain so if I could that’s where they went, some Italy so they went there, by working with them when possible you achieved maximum productivity and every one was happy, sometimes they had to go to places they did not like but you always had the following week to appease them, worked for me anyway.
If you ever watch Prime Ministers question time on television it explains all, worse than an out of control classroom of teenage kids it belies belief that they are in charge of our destiny, nothing but a bunch of rowdy hooligans shouting and hollering at each other. We could do so much better here and things need to change, the only good thing is that when Dave and all his cronies get the boot if we leave they wont get a job in Brussels on the old gravy train as the whole thing is going to collapse, all the other members are eyes on us as they will not be far behind if Brexit succeeds, we here are the bench mark so lets give Ange and the Frogs the biggest headache they have ever had and see what she does with all those immigrants she flooded her country with, Buzzer, im’e an OUT voter if you hadn’t got my drift yet.
Buzzer-you’ve said it all. I’m with you all the way and the joy on my face when we come out of this Future Totalitarian State will be sublime. Added to this,Scameron and Boy George being re united with their P45’s will be a sight to see. All the best to the OUT voters,regards,900x20.

Unfortunately the difference is that we’ve got more people against the country,in the form of the in vote and Cameron and Osborne and our own bankers, than the combined German armies of WW1 and WW2.
