Another real patriot, its your choice you carry on eating the snails and one day you may see sense and if your so happy there why do you give a toss about us here, Buzzer
For a man with an International transport company that is an incredibly short sighted view of how inter-connected we all are these days.
ATAP.
Many of you heard of this?
New EU rules about trying to prevent hiding behind borders to avoid taxes. Mostly trying to stop international companies and such individuals dodging around not paying their fair dues.
If we move outside the EU our brave business community won’t be subject to such “interference” or “over regulation” will it? So let us leave, so our hedge fund managers aren’t driven into poverty.
Farage has been asking who finds the new Independence Party apparently. Did he answer who have his new party over £100,000? He was asked on LBC on April 28th. Has he answered yet? He previously said he wouldn’t take money from Aaron Banks (this time).
Looking at his day jobs, and his known backers, looking at how prominent Brexiteers make their money, one does wonder!

I am not short sighted at all, for a start I now have no active part in the company I set up anymore and no shares in it either ( know your facts before spouting ) that being said do you really think when or if we leave the EU all traffic and trade will cease between us and the EU, think its you that maybe disconnected not me, Buzzer

All trade and traffic will not cease, true. So short sighted statements about us standing alone are nonsense aren’t they. Why make that continuing trade and traffic harder? Why make our imports dearer for us? Why increase costs to exporters so customers buy elsewhere?

Agreed.
Aye, and the chances of that happening?
Sadlly slim, I am not as optimistic of it as most Brexiteers are pessimistic of it.
And while I’m here, and to save copying and posting loads of stuff, I also agree wholeheartedly with all the subsequent postings by Franglais and Owen.
And to Buzzer, how are we to know how disconnected you are from the company you founded, you always refer to it as ‘we’, as in ‘we still go over the water’ and ‘we buy all our diesel in the UK as it is cheaper now’. ?
Franglais:
Is it me or has the argument of “Leavers” been changing?
Once upon a time it was always how much better off we would all be. All these marvelous new deals, including with the EU.
“Easiest negotiations in history”?
“Deals signed within months”?
“We hold all the cards”?
Now we ALL know what bollox that was.
So, now their main argument seems to be
“Follow the vote”.
If I had been fooled by a lying salesman, into signing up for a crap deal, that would loose me money, I would rather get out of it.
There is a degree of honour in keeping to our word. But following through on a decision made on the basis of false promoises isn’t honourable. It’s not seeing the lies for what they are, even after it’s become obvious.
No it’s definitely just you spouting more typical Federalist crap. The argument has always been first and foremost about sovereignty.IE allegiance to this country and its flag and only locally/nationally elected representatives making the rules and if ‘we’ don’t like them then ‘we’ and ‘we’ alone can chuck em out of office at the local ballot box.
As for the rest it’s clear that there was never going to be any type of unilateral trade deals so long as your lot made sure that they kept hold of the agenda in the form of remainers May and Hammond.
As for lies the only lies were those by Heath and all those who followed him and all the other obvious Federalist liars like yourself trying to pretend that the EU is a Confederation of Sovereign States when it’s actually just an attempt to rebuild the Soviet Union in a different guise all to please a cultural Marxist agenda with the Chinese Communist Party at the top of the zb pile.Or for that matter you and those like you continuing to push the same lies that a massive trade deficit and equally massive net contribution and the ongoing austerity imposed on us to pay for it,all for the privilege of being ruled by scum like Juncker,is supposedly good for us.

Meanwhile as part of the EU we go on paying VAT and a massive Council Tax burden which is obviously designed to help to pay for our equally massive EU contributions costs. Both being regressive forms of tax which hit the lowest paid hardest while helping the richest elites avoid what would be a much higher income tax bill if we shifted that burden onto income tax.You know the type income tax burden which we imposed on the highest earning sector of society under a Labour government as a non EU member state.
As for controlled opposition Farage, like your remainer mates May and Hammond,no surprise you keep droning on about what all sides know that he is doing to actually sabotage Brexit. You might as well save all your desperate bs because it’s clear that the whole issue will and can only be settled by force sooner or later just like all the other Federalist v Nationalist arguments throughout history.

We do pay into the EU central funds, yes. We do pay in a net amount, yes.
You’re asking a good question, how does what we pay in OVERALL compare with what we receive OVERALL.
And how would those figures change in the future depending on whether we stay or leave?
Can we agree that’s the basic question we are dealing with? I don’t want to imatate a politician in an interview, by attempting to answer a different question to the one asked!

Don’t waste your time ramone he’s already numerous times tried to magic a net contribution and trade deficit into a surplus figure by some unknown factor.

NET contribution and trade deficit by definition means bleedin OVERALL.
Yes that’s what i’m getting at , is the membership worth it with the restrictions we have to put up with
spardo how small minded one can get over such a minor point, if you really want to know who is in charge of Davies International look it up at companies house if that is not past your many capabilities. Do you not think that after establishing a company 48 years ago that I do not have the right to use the word ( we ) while talking about the company I set up all those years ago and add to that this is on a completely different thread, how sad you are.
Proud is the word I would use to describe my past in the International haulage business and to think it is still thriving today which many companies are not and now being in the capable hands of my two sons taking it forward does make me proud and while discussing any part of what happens within the company that if I want to refer to anything as WE then I shall, sometimes your posts are so petty it beggars belief to what you have achieved in your life that is so great, I rest my case Buzzer.

You had a go at Owen for assuming that you still had a hand in the business, I merely pointed out how, by your own language, it was an easy mistake to make. That’s all, but I think the pettiness rebounds on you for making such a fuss.

Owen is your kith & Kin now is he, I am sure he is quite capable of speaking for himself when the need arises, it seems to me that you have been petty on more than one occasion and trying to belittle others posts on here and other threads so you have obviously have far too much time on your hands coupled with your tiny brain cells hence your critical and pointless posts, if you have nothing constructive to post just take the dog for a walk instead, Buzzer

Looks like there is going to another blood bath in the up coming EU elections which were officially announced to-day so TM & JC will get another pounding at the ballot box ! Bloody great I say ! Then there is the Peterborough by election in June which Jakey Mogg’s sister is standing as Nigel’s candidate ! I think I can feel another kicking coming on for The Dynamic duo ! Bring it on can’t wait ! Cheers Bewick.
