Eu referendum whats your vote

Franglais:
Sorry HRS, but it is complicated.
No one wants it more complicated than it is, but anyone who tells it is easy doesn’t understand it.
A five year old may watch a rocket launch and see how easily the thing lifts off. Count backwards from ten? Difficult but doable. Then push the big red button.
We both know it ain’t that easy. It’s complex. It’s rocket science.

Let’s get this right the WTO is suddenly and conveniently ok and good enough for the EU and by association us to be a member of.Especially in the case of flooding the market with cheap, effectively slave labour made,Chinese crap. But it’s suddenly not ok if we want to be a member unilaterally free of the EU.Obviously to head off any plan by us to play off US imports v German ones.No it an’t rocket science to work out the EU’s ( read Germany’s ) motives in that regard at all. :unamused:

HRS:
Seriously John, why would you want to burn your bridges without an exit plan?

We were not given a “plan” to vote on, IN or OUT. why make thing complicated, WTO will do for the majoity.
[/quote]
Nobody’s trying to make it complicated. It IS, and always WAS complicated. Much more complicated than a simple In/Out vote could resolve.

The thing is, Farage, Gove, Boris etc. didn’t let on about how complicated things were.
In any divorce there are messy and unavoidable legal issues to deal with.

Farage saying we could just walk away was really a bit naughty. (don’t know if he actually said that, but he certainly implied it at the time).

Someone’s messed up the quote sequence here.
Franglais? I’m looking at you.

We are a sovereign nation so sure we can just walk, well I still believe we are a sovereign nation but by the howls of protest from the Remoaners you could be forgiven for thinking that we cannot go for a ■■■■ without first asking the EU ! Bollox ! Cheers Bewick.

Moi?

Not me.
My 'putor must have done it. The wiring behind the buttons got twisted.

Sorry.

All May and to a lesser extent Corbyn want is to duck out of the EU elections as neither of them relish another drubbing at the EU elections but I don’t believe they can manage it, plus we’ve got the up coming by election in Peterborough which neither of the Areoslos can duck ! Cheers Bewick.

We haven’t been a ‘sovereign nation’ since Heath, helped by Thatcher, signed us up to the European Communities Act and hid FCO 30/1048 as part of the plan.Conservative Federalist Party acting true to form who would have thought it.

What a surprise. They know they won’t get the ‘same’ result because this time they’ll make a much better job of rigging the ballot. In which case the real question would be is this referendum binding on the government, unlike the previous one,if so why and if not what’s the point.Let alone the question since when was it ok for anyone, including parliament,to vote any country out of existence and into foreign vassalage.

TM is so desperate, she knows not many in her party want her any more let alone as leader neither does Corbin and I cannot see him jumping into bed with her, its too late for her to make her mark other than being a bold faced loser and liar. In the long term saving of the Conservatives party she needs to go now and not in a few months time, gaud knows who would be the best to take over but we need someone who wont dilly dally and get us out ASAP with a no deal and let us all get on, IMHO I believe in twelve months time every one would be saying why the heck did we not do it after three months and then we can get back to some normality and deal with more pressing needs of our country, Buzzer

Cancel article 50 and put life back to normal would be the sensible decision.

Another real patriot, its your choice you carry on eating the snails and one day you may see sense and if your so happy there why do you give a toss about us here, Buzzer

Another 160 million pounds wasted on consultancy contracts for Brexit.
Add that to the 4 billion so far wasted.
Going well so far .
Nothing wrong with snails, drunk with a nice Chablis.

■■■■ the ■■■■■■■ conservative party, that cow’s primary duty is to this country, as it is so fond of saying when it suits. This whole fiasco is down to that oxygen waster and her ■■■■■■■ tory party. It should have said to junkers jumo & co: “THIS is what is happening and here’s two fingers. Swivel.” But no, it’s been please, please, please, what would YOU like us to do?

I think the ‘sensible decision’ ship has well and truly sailed.
What we’re looking at now is damage limitation.
Nobody realised how complicated it was. Nobody expected ‘Leave’ to win. Nobody had a Plan B.

No surprise you didn’t want to answer the questions.Probably because the best you can do is the same old lie that the EU isn’t a wannabe illegal Federal Superstate. That’s intent on taking over Europe and dissolving its established recognised de Facto Nation States as part of the plan.

Agreed.

Agreed.

Aye, and the chances of that happening?

Compared to what’s approaching the UK, how bad was it to be in the EU?

Is it me or has the argument of “Leavers” been changing?
Once upon a time it was always how much better off we would all be. All these marvelous new deals, including with the EU.
“Easiest negotiations in history”?
“Deals signed within months”?
“We hold all the cards”?
Now we ALL know what bollox that was.
So, now their main argument seems to be
“Follow the vote”.
If I had been fooled by a lying salesman, into signing up for a crap deal, that would loose me money, I would rather get out of it.
There is a degree of honour in keeping to our word. But following through on a decision made on the basis of false promoises isn’t honourable. It’s not seeing the lies for what they are, even after it’s become obvious.
