According to the UNHCR site 85% of all refugees stay in countries neighbouring there own. They don’t all rush to the west. We’ve seen the conditions for some of them, living in tents in freezing night conditions. Given a bit more help with conditions there, they’d have less need to move further away from there old homes.

If our NHS needs to recruit staff from abroad who is to blame? Isnt it mismanaged by own Governments? Do other EU countries suffer the same problems?

Plenty of foreign doctors working in France. but they have to be able to speak French, which means there aren’t many Brits (Brits are terrible at learning languages). Our own GP is Belgian and we have come across several Dutch in the hospital. They are the best for us as they speak excellent English as well as French.

You deliver dogs ? Now i could actually for the first time learn something from you here Spardo. How do you load dogs obviously double stacking them would be a non starter , but you could gun shot and roll them. The nearest ive got is once picking up 26 pallets of dog biscuits from Barking … Down Shep

You ever thought of a career as a stand-up? No, didn’t think so.

Not when you are around with your endless wit , your posts are hillarious at times up the scottish independence you are allowed to change your mind but the queues at the border will stretch to John O Groats and having to change your euros into sterling everytime well

None of which will matter in the case of being declared a ‘palliative’ case in keeping with Juncker’s pro euthanasia stance.

As for languages yeah right the French or Brits never travel abroad in case they ever end up in a foreign speaking only A and E department. While in many of the most severe cases the patient won’t be in a fit state to say anything coherent or understand anything in any language anyway. In just the same way that not many/any animals die because the vet can’t speak to them.

As for poor middle east ‘refugees’.Yeah right while Saudis Kuwaitis and UAE etc live in luxury.Remind us how many ‘refugees’ that they’ve taken in v Europe ?.If it looks and quacks like a Kalergi type plan duck its a duck. :unamused:

@ C.F.
Refugees and numbers according to EU Commission and UHHCR and other sources here’s some rough figures regarding Syrian refugees. Given the chaotic nature of the situation and differing ways of seeing the problems it’s not an exact science.

Firstly Saudi Arabia has no Syrian refugees.
That is because they regard the Syrians as fellow Arab brothers and sisters. Some estimates say there are between half a million and two and a half million there. They receive free education and health care. They are allowed to work. Daresay, same as immigrants elsewhere it’ll be the more menial work, but hey-ho.
Turkey 3.5millions
Lebanon 2.2m
Jordan 1.2m
Germany 0.7m
Iraq, UAE, and other countries lesser amounts.

Morning all,
My local doctor, “there are two in the practice”, has for over 18 months been grooming three new up and coming doctor students with the intention of them joining the practice when they qualify.
I understand this is not uncommon.
He now tells me they have all qualified and two are going to Australia and one to Canada giving the practice a real problem.
Question : Why can we not, (like we do with LGV drivers) set a cost to them to cover there training which will not be recovered as they work for us for an ageeable time when qualified.

I live in hope that not to many will just hang on the “grooming” bit. Harvey

Same thing here, well not quite, our 2 doctor practice usually has a ‘trainee’ in attendance but not always the same ones and not intended to join the practice. It is simply work experience for them. Of course I have no idea if they stay in France once fully qualified or not.

But you have a point, if they haven’t contributed to their training, however, tell me if I am wrong, but don’t they pay hefty fees for their 5 or whatever it is years at Uni to get where they are? So perhaps your question is answered.

Saudi Arabia,Kuwait,UAE etc regards them as good Arab mates.Which by your zb’d up Kalergi plan logic means it’s obviously ok and nothing strange for them to say they don’t want em there so send em all to Euro la la land instead. :unamused:

As for Turkey only an indoctrinated let em all in no borders Soviet Socialist ( if the cap fits wear it ) would believe that all those in Turkey aren’t just using the place as a transit camp. With the ultimate aim of taking up your lot’s offer of letting em all in here in an obvious plan of deliberate social engineering to create demographic change within the European population.

On that note don’t see any combined figures for Europe as a whole including UK and France within those. :unamused:

So the TV pictures of the illegals blocking roads approaching Calais and breaking into lorries are all actually fakes then? these are all of them professors and doctors at the end of their tether I suppose?.. and not the criminal opportunists who want to continue their various wars of religious and tribal hatred in the safer environment of the land of milk and honey, which Greenham Common Woman has so carefully and wrongly described to them in their various camps. No, just like the Vikings they’ve got their eyes on ■■■■ and pillage too. And that extends to a more figurative interpretation as well. " I want go to England, my brother he is there." Yes, you’ll know how to find him, but we [zb] don’t.

Hello Cav, who woke you up then

It really is a total waste of breath debating with you Spardo however one final thing I can say about the Vikings is that they never asked anyone for anything, quite the opposite ! But what they did do over a number of years is assimilate with the sparsely populated areas of the UK they settled in AND they converted to Christianity which is something Moslems have never done going back over the past 60 odd years with the influx we had from the Sub Continent. And it is patently obvious that it is still the case to-day but can I also ask you why do Moslems make Christian countries their preferred destination and not other Moslem countries like Saudi and the Gulf states ? Bewick.

Haha, that’s funny Dennis - by the way, did the Vikings live this lovely, idyllic passive life before or after they raped & pillaged their way across Britain?
Also, the Vikings were pagans, which is why they looted anything they could get their hands on from the Christian churches.
Just a bit of ‘fact’ to go with your ‘fiction’ - though very entertaining your fiction is.
Cheers Keith

You obviously missed the bit about Vikings having converted to Christianity just like Anglo Saxons did.

As opposed to the satanic scum like son of a ■■■■ Juncker infiltrating the Christian church.

Does it really matter what we say or Think anymore.Leaders and those Close to them,be it in a democracy, socialist state or dictatorship ignore us to benefit themselves and have done so for the last 1000 yrs.
Religion and politics have become a social corrupt self serving entity.

Maybe the modern day immigrants are much like the Vikings then ■■■■■■ thieving and drug dealing its come full circle but don’t knock it you will be labelled a right wing extremist

On top of the £4 000 000 000 costs so far (and mounting ) for a non- exit Brexit, I see the UK Govt are having to pay out £56.6 Million to the ferry companies as a result, on cancelled contracts- and P&O are planning to sue the Govt after the £33 Million ‘Given’ to Eurotunnel .
Excellent use of tax payers money - And potentially failing Grayling to replace May.
It would have bought a few buses for slogans .

It doesn’t matter how much the government tries to justify and bail out Thatcher’s and Mitterand’s hole in the ground it ain’t going to make it any more attractive to those who’d rather use the ferry than the tunnel. No surprise that Euro competition laws regarding state subsidies can be waived when it suits them. How long before their next move being the banning of Channel ferry movements on ‘environmental grounds’.

If it all gets shunted back until this Autumn will there be another bonus for the ferry companies? Or will the Gov minister, whoever it is then, be put off by the present publicity and risk headlines of “Channel Chaos” in the red tops?

Your right Spardo my descendants were of Viking origin but there is one subtle difference we have been here over 1000 years not 5 [zb] minutes like these parasites that are trying to arrive amongst us ! Bewick.

So there we are after all, brothers, mine too (not my descendants obviously, they are still around) arrived about the same time, from Denmark. The difference between us is, I remember that all our ancestors were immigrants, and not all were welcome, but they stayed and they made good.

Have you ever heard of the Ice Age? Nobody was in Britain then. Everybody is descended from the ones who flooded in when the ice went away, or much later. So where do you draw the line? 1,000 years ago, when you, or your ancestors, arrived, sometime in the 9,000 odd years before that when the ice retreated perhaps, making you and I real Johnny come latelys, or the waves that have come afterwards.

Oh well pull up the ladder, our ancestors came to ■■■■ and pillage, no wonder we weren’t welcome, but these latest ones are just searching for safety and a better life. And then they meet…you. :frowning:
