Leave in the 1st referendum
Leave when we have the 2nd
if then best of 5 it will be leave in the 3rd
Quite correct John but after best of five the Remainers would still be screaming their heads off ! If all the various news reports are anywhere near correct all over the Europe there is a growing surge of anti EU sentiment ! The Italians and Greeks want out as so do the Hungarians and Poles and nearer home the Cloggies are heading that way too along with Sweden and Denmark so they can’t all be wrong surely ! Cheers Bewick.

It’s an over simplistic leap to suggest that European Nationalism is the same thing as every Italian,Greek,Hungarian and Pole and Dutchman. This is going to get a lot more complicated and probably ugly before it gets settled.Possibly to the point where we start seeing political arrests and clamp downs against all Nationalist and perceived Nationalist Parties and their supporters across Europe.Make no mistake this is now all about which way the respective militaries go and it doesn’t look like it’s going to go along the lines of secessionist national militias winning out as in the case of the former Yugoslavia.More like the total opposite.

the EU is finished, the German’s know they will be left to bail out the rest of them, i think on paper the EU could work as one but as you know it is full a greedy b*******ds in it to fill their pockets rather than have a strong presence on the world economy. the single currency proved that especially where those countries with poor exchange rate were then equal to the strong countries like Germany and Holland.all the Best John

If it’s supposed to work as one big happy federation of USE then why do they conveniently go back to seperate countries when it comes to Germany wanting to protect its wealth from being distributed around the so called ‘Union’ in being considered as Europe’s wealth not Germany’s.IE it’s only a so called ‘Union’ and one when it’s in Germany’s interests for it to be one, such as when imposing EU rule on us and making us a net contributor while we have to borrow and inflict austerity at home to keep our own economy afloat, but then conveniently turns back into seperate ‘countries’ when it isn’t in Germany’s interests for it to be considered as ‘one’.IE the wealth and profits created in Germany, because Germany has most of the industry, belongs to Germany, but the EU’s liabilities conveniently belong to the EU as it suits.

Lest not forget that that [zb] Cameron spent 9 million of our “hard earned” to send a leaflet to every house in the UK warning of the Armageddon that would descend upon us all the day after if we voted leave What! And lets face it our saving on the multi millions we are currently sending to the EU anually is far greater than the 350 million figure bandied about during the referendum campaign ! So get real please no matter how or which way you stack it up we will be “quid’s in” on leaving the EU ! Cheers Bewick.
If we leave with a No Deal come back and reassure us how better off we all are.
You obviously know what No Deal will mean. Nothing to worry about there eh?
Oh, and we’ll have blue passports as well. Woo Hoo!

Are you sure you’re not a politician , you quoted on an earlier post that the only thing certain about brexit was no one knew the outcome but now you’re saying you know what will happen .Maybe the Irn Brew is too strong for you up there

I said nobody knows what will happen. There’s been no outcome yet, or have I missed it?
Hard keeping up with everything,
There is an indication now that the EU are beginning to favour a longer extension to Brexit maybe to the end of December 2019 are they desperate for our dosh or what, Can we really be expected to put up with another nine months of this Brexit crap, I don’t think so, Buzzer

I think it’s 9 months-ish, being talked of, BUT we can drop out sooner if a deal is struck before then.
Just stops the silly “I only need a week more”… again, and again.
Or in transport terms: stops phoning them every half hour and saying “He’s only around the corner. Honest. He’ll be there soon”!

So? What’s the alternative? Have you personally got any influence in this?
Well, maybe you have. Another vote?

Define ‘deal’ ?.
A “deal” ?
At the moment it seems to be what the EU agrees to and “we” agree to?
“We” being a simple majority in Parliament I think.
Whether “we” should be
Mrs May
The Torys
The ERG
The Gov
Parliament
Or the majority of the population by another referendum
Is an arguable point.
Seems to me the EU have negotiated a deal with Our representatives over the past two years, and if time drags on it’s because of our failure at the talks. If we had made a great deal it would have been voted through, but it hasn’t.
We could be getting a second bite at the democratic cherry. We may get to say what we think of the REAL deal on offer. Not just the politician’s promises of what a deal would look like.
As I quoted before “Democracy is an ongoing process, not a one off event.”

So you’ve now just turned the question into your definition of democracy.
Democracy is an ongoing process. In this case based on the fact that no one has the right to vote a sovereign de facto nation state out of existence and into the self appointed undeclared de Jure Federal EU state vassalage.I think we can forget all about your bs idea of democracy on this matter it’s now just an issue of sides and which side the country’s military wishes to come down on.IE it’s either for the nation or against it.

My solution is this, get all the politicians in Whitehall and block up all the doors and airways and gas them with cyanide just like we did with rabbits and the mixxy then we could start again with a clean fresh system, one representative for each county in the country and no more, we don’t need 650 MP’s which is obvious by the shannagin’s of the last three years and Brexit. Also block the channel tunnel up for good measure and while we are at it do the same exercise in Brussel’s as well, problem solved in an instant.
On another note the government in there wisdom paid Brittany Ferries millions to lay on increased sailings every day to cope with mountains of extra traffic that will occur because of Brexit (wrong) on our local news this morning Brittany ferries stated there is a 10% drop in bookings as there is no confidence by the public in going to the EU for holidays and to boot they have dropped the speed limit to 40mph on the motorway approaching Pompy, WTF are they thinking.
Franglais as i said before democracy in this country is dead, removed from the dictionary, if there was any of that left in this place we would be OUT by now and setting sail on our new ventures flying solo but oh no looks like we are going to have to endure an elongation of this sorry saga so lets hope its not to long what ever way it pans out, Buzzer
The reality is that we voted OUT we didnt vote for deals we wanted to be free of the EU’s clutches any deal will only be accepted if the EU have the upper hand on our actions. We didnt vote for that we voted OUT land we are being patronised and ignored

Flying solo, oh yes, but with no wings?
A certain Mr. A. Hitler would have been proud of you. I can just see him now, if he can see out of his personal hell rubbing his hands with glee, ‘here we go again’.
Sorry about that, just a bit of knee jerk reaction, but nevertheless do you really think that this is a reasoned contribution to the debate?

I take it that you don’t have Jewish relatives then.

This from a man who lives in France takes a pension from England and contributes zero to the British economy … oh and has lived abroad elswhere before settling for France. We now know where the economic migrants we apparently welcome with open arms get it from
Sorry about that just a bit of a knee jerk reaction it happens from time to time

A man who lives in France and takes his pension from England and spends part of it in England. I suppose you think that your mate Buzzer’s lorries have always filled their tanks in England, do you?
But nevertheless you continue with your moronic support of the gasser
Makes me sick to hear of this relentless attack on the organisation that more than anything else has prevented a recurrence of such xenophobic and racist bile.

I wondered when the good old race card would be thrown in.Maybe i’m just as sick of your posts as you are of mine .Why not come back to Britain and spend all your pension on a country that is keeping you instead of propping up the French economy and then you could have a good look at what this country looks like since free movement.
And quoting you buying parts for your car on Amazon doesn’t do much for the British economy but maybe it does in your world ffs

Just for the record Spardo we don’t buy any fuel abroad now all bought in the UK as its much cheaper than in the rest of the EU, as you know some of the unrest in your adopted country is because of the ridiculously high price of fuel but then Macron needs the tax so your mates can retire at 50 and have a 35hr working week eh, Buzzer.
