I sleep easy at night knowing I’ve never been stupid enough to vote Tory.
Oh wait. The ‘Tories’ are actually on the same side as you regarding handing the country over to the 4th Reich from the point when Heath took us into it and Thatcher campaigned to keep us in it and Major took us even deeper into the mire then Cameron spent loads of tax payers cash on remain propaganda. While having remainer May ready willing and able waiting behind the scenes as an insurance policy to sabotage a Leave win in his dodgy one sided rigged ‘referendum’.Just as would be expected with the Sax Coburgs and EU Fuhrer Juncker pulling all their strings.
Blimey. That’s quite a rant about a Party I’ve no time for. Cheers.
You mentioned the 4th Reich, Juncker, Fuhrer and the Sax Coburgs in the same post.
It’s early, I’m sure you’re just warming up.
Hope so. I’m only waiting for ‘quisling’ and ‘stinking’ for a full house on CF Brexit Bingo.

But you obviously do have loads of ‘time for’ and support for its quisling policy of selling us out to the stinking EU 4th Reich. From Heath’s to May’s successive administrations.
Dexxy57 is that why you give variety just like Heinz, you must come from up North if you want to get into bed with Corbin and his Labour cronies but having said that the Conservatives are no better at the moment and after this Brexit debacle I don’t think either party will be the same again and it will take some time for anybody to have faith in either for quite a while.
At the end of the day I think it will be members of the EU that will decide what happens here, the French, Spanish, Belgians & the Dutch are allegedly reported as not happy with an extension of any kind and I really think they will decide our fate as our MP’s cannot agree on anything and TM has no real plan that is acceptable, we shall see as this week should throw some light on the situation and every one here in the UK just wants it sorted one way or another. Buzzer.
That clip should be played at 200 decibels continuously in the house of commons and relayed by loudspeaker and video screen in Parliament square until we actually leave.

‘Reported’ where and by who ?.Why would any EU state want to lose a major net contributor and foreign fishing industry provider and trade and migration dumping ground ?.It will be sorted one way and that’s the pre planned foregone choice between May’s BRINO ( open ended extension keeping us under EU rule ) or Remain ( Revokation ) .Or possibly even a combination of both in the form of a long extension followed by revokation.

We respect the result of the referendum just so long as in 1975 it can be rigged so as to remain in the EU.If not then it’s plan B of let’s sabotage the result.

Of course, as ever, context is everything, and what some of those speakers were talking about was not that there would not be a 2nd referendum before leaving, but that there wouldn’t be a 2nd chance to get back in if we did leave. Sad news for Buzzer of course, who thinks that a 5 year trial would be good before nipping back in if it doesn’t work out.

Don’t think if we leave it will still be there in five years IMHO hope not anyway, Buzzer

In the interests of balance maybe they could alternate it with
The last question on that clip is a very valid one.
“Is it democracy if your vote is based upon lies?”
Caroline Lucas was speaking on BBC R4 Any Questions, Fri eve.
(bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0003rmt Full programme here, so many vewpoints are represented.)
She made an interesting comment “Democracy is a process, not a one off event.”
Many from both sides have said that we have the right to vote out those politicians we dislike.
When we vote them in it isnt so they become dictators for five years! It is so they can fulfill their manifesto promises. Well, weve seen those promises evaporate before our eyes.
Since the Gov decided that Brexit was for the country to decide by referendum, (rightly/wrongly) how is it not right for us to decide, by the same method, on the deal?
Little or no mention was made about a “No Deal” Brexit before the referendum, but that is, in spite of a Parliamentary vote against it, still a possibility. We have been dragged down a route that has no resemblance to any of the manifesto promises of Vote Leave, yet the main parties both seem wedded to it. Why?
There have been three votes in Parliament on Mrs Mays deal, so "asking the same question over and over" isnt such a problem if it`s HER question being asked , it seems.
And we all know the old truism: “When the facts change, I may change my mind”. Well, now the truth is coming out, now the facts are becoming apparent, maybe some of the electorate are wishing to change their minds.
I have been fairly sceptical about a second referendum up until now, but the absolute shambolic attempts by a broken party, more concerned about themselves, than getting a good deal for the country is too much.
Do a Referendum and a General Election seem like one possible way out of this? I dunno, but it is one option.
Not a good option, it`s true, but we are where we are, and there are NO good options left.

Get into bed with Corbyn? That’s an image I’d rather you hadn’t planted in my head so close to bedtime.
As far as I’m concerned, he’s useless as a party leader. As is May.
Good point about Europe deciding for us. Their patience is at breaking point. Why should they give us any more extensions when we can’t agree on anything ourselves? It’s not as if we haven’t had time.
Just shows how much the country is divided though.
Opinion on here and in the tabloids doesn’t reflect the mood of the whole country.
I, personally, would prefer we didn’t leave. I’d be outraged, however, if a democratic vote on the scale of a national referendum was ignored. They did say at the time, though, it was just advisory. (Yes they did).
Having said that, Gove and Boris were (still are) lying, conniving ■■■■■.
£350 million a week for the NHS. Was anyone thick enough to believe that? Turkey soon to join the EU. What? Seriously?
The constant stream of misinformation from the Leave camp was staggering.
But, a vote’s a vote, and the people who could be bothered to turn out voted.
The Remain side were woefully complacent and the Leave side shamefully dishonest.
Lest not forget that that ■■■■■■ Cameron spent 9 million of our “hard earned” to send a leaflet to every house in the UK warning of the Armageddon that would descend upon us all the day after if we voted leave What! And lets face it our saving on the multi millions we are currently sending to the EU anually is far greater than the 350 million figure bandied about during the referendum campaign ! So get real please no matter how or which way you stack it up we will be “quid’s in” on leaving the EU ! Cheers Bewick.

“Is it democracy if your vote is based upon lies?”
You mean lies like Heath telling the electorate it’s only a Common Market and hiding FCO 30/1048 from the electorate and parliament. Also possibly even the Queen ( doubtful ) .
While only Federalist liars could possibly try to deliberately misconstrue exactly what was meant, but which couldn’t be written literally,in the space available,on the side of a bleedin bus.On that note it’s so much better to go on borrowing money to pay for our EU net contributions bill and trade deficit black hole while inflicting austerity at home, including cuts to the NHS budget,to pay for it.
dexxy57:
Just shows how much the country is divided though.
No zb sherlock.Yes divided between typical aggressive illegal self appointed Federalism v justified Nationalism and the right to self determination of an established internationally recognised de Facto Nation State and history suggests that it will be a miracle if it gets settled without a fight between the two sides sooner or later.Unfortunately in this case Germany probably managing to do what it couldn’t do in 1940 because a country can’t survive treason within bringing it down and selling it out to the 4th Reich.

If we leave with a No Deal come back and reassure us how better off we all are.
You obviously know what No Deal will mean. Nothing to worry about there eh?
Oh, and we’ll have blue passports as well. Woo Hoo!

Yes get real we ain’t leaving the EU without a fight against it and its supporters within and the forces aren’t up for it.As opposed to probably helping them to subjugate this former nation state and helping the quisling parliament and the sax coburgs to finish the job of selling it out into EU vassalage.
dexxy57:

Only something to worry about for those like you who want to tie the country to being ruled by dictators like Juncker and Tusk and foreign federal mandate.
