Buzzer:
Best those countries that are not happy in the way the EU is going follow suit with the UK and then your wish will come true, it will all collapse like a pack of cards which IMHO it will anyway within four years anyway as there is not enough wealthy countries to keep the bust and broken members going with bailouts, Buzzer.
There will be no more Exits, Buzzer, Brexit and the wholesale waste of effort it has caused has seen to that. The population of Europe does not want that nonsense in its own countries and the mood to stay together has been strengthened by that.
So, we who believe in Europe, united and free, should thank you for curbing the extremists in our midst.
I agree with Buzzer on this. Countries who are disillusioned and dissatisfied with the EU are watching and learning from the mistakes and infighting of the lamentable shower in Westminster.Barnier,Juncker et al could be in for a wakeup call.

.Anyway might as well now support remain and make it a European fight for Nationalism v Federalism and thereby try to smash the EU from within and thereby curing the disease. Not pointlessly trying to cure the symptoms by expecting the ideologically Euro Federalist UK parliament and our dodgy Euro import Head of State to deliver Brexit.
Alright, you’ve convinced me CF, better that Britain leaves if that is the result, and leave us still in the best thing that’s ever happened to Europe, to cure its ills in a sensible fashion and make it even better from within.
Ironically I think the idea of BRINO is actually all about isolating the UK from European Nationalism and vice versa while keeping us tied to EU Federal rule.I really think that Batten is playing into the Federalists hands in that regard.Instead of now reversing UKIP’s policy to one of remain based on the fact that the EU referendum has been shown to be an illegal charade and the UK government is hopelessly biased in favour of European Federalism and join with AfD,FN and Fidesz to help them smash the EU Federal government system from within.

Remain in, yes, would have been the best option.
Change the EU into something that works better, and is headed in a less radical direction.
To have kept the options open for our next generations. We aren`t the only country inside the EU that is unhappy at the moment. Why leave those others who want change in a weaker position by leaving?
But, hey-ho.
No it’s obvious that your and Spardo’s idea of ‘something better’ is more of the same more Federalism.Nationalists you ain’t.
Franglais:
Countries don`t become wealthy in isolation.
Which is of course an oxymoron. It can’t be a ‘wealthy country’ if it’s not taken in ‘isolation’ as defined by its own borders and if it then redistributes its wealth across the European Federation let alone globally.Or for that matter if it joins in with race to the bottom global free markets.

Well, we’ll see, but I am sure that a salutary lesson has been learned by many who might have been that way inclined, and don’t want to inflict Britain’s experience on their own countries, and certainly not the various governments. Even Italy and Greece would not risk that and the Eastern states are far more terrified of the Russian bear to risk a return to the dark past.
In spite of the uncertainty for British residents of France until the smoke clears I haven’t met a single one who is in favour of leaving. And I do meet many, French and other EU nationalities, in my extensive travels around this continent, and I know that to leave is not a widely or strongly held desire. It is all very well to think you have the pulse if you only listen to or read a small selection of sources, or meet like minded mates down the pub or online, but that way you do not get a reasonable overall view. For instance, if someone was to read this thread and no other source, they could be forgiven for thinking that 95% of British people were not only Brexiteers, but extreme ones at that, ie, those who think that no deal is the only way to go. It isn’t so in the real world.

Which are you? set 1 or set 2?
^ idiotic post .
Agreed.
Hardly unexpected from a remainer. Perhaps a reminder about glass houses, pots and kettles is needed. What I find most noticeable is that leavers seem to restrict their name calling to a rather mild Remoaner; while the self proclaimed superior race (Remainers) bandy about: Knuckle Draggers, Brexshitters, Nazis and various other insults implying that all leavers are in some way either unintelligent or racist. They appear to be more and more desperate as every day passes.
HRS:
How on earth do you believe what you read with “Gov” headings.
Good question.
Do you believe everything with Gov headings?
Do you believe nothing with Gov headings?
How does it work for you?
Sorry, bit late in catching up.
It does not need to work for me, I read it with an open mind and a small ammount of well learned suspicion, switch off and get on with my life, I could die of many things, but never stress. Harvey

Ive just done a quick search of this thread and have found "Brexshitters" once, and that was the post above. "Nazis" mentioned several times, but only once when comparing Brexiteers to them. "Knuckle draggers" once, and that was Juddian referring to an extreme element of Brexiteers... I havent counted when a post has been re-quoted.

Any chance you could do a quick search for how many times HRS and Buzzer have posted pictures of fake news before mentioning that of course they weren’t true and were only having a laugh?
Light hearted? Yes. Idiotic? Yes. But hardly something to beat someone over the head with, before launching into another tirade against honestly held views. As in Cav’s so inaccurate post above.

Sorry Spardo, my abacus ain`t got enough beads for that search!

That goes with the territory of the typical Federalist mindset.Look on the bright side we haven’t yet reached the point where they are not only still using such terms but have also changed the agenda to an EU Federal army calling its opposition ‘rebels’ and imposing the will of the EU politburo at gun point. As in the case of the JNA v Slovenian secession being a most recent example.Bearing in mind, that unlike Slovenia in that case,we have no real National militia ready willing and able to stand up to these indoctrinated Federalist fanatics.
As for the irony of those trying to put Europe under the jackboot of the 4 th Reich EU Federation,to follow the German Federation’s attempt to create a pan European 3 rd Reich before it,then having the nerve to call their opposition Nazis for trying to defend the self determination of Europe’s nation states against that similar insidious agenda, they couldn’t make it up.
What do all these vids have in common. They all commemorate the defence of the right to self determination of the Nation State against the aggression and imposition of the Federation in all its forms.
Notice the stupid US position taken at 2.20-2.51 in the third vid.The best way to supposedly stop violence caused by Federalist aggression is more Federalism what a surprise nothing new there that worked out well.

I think you have just put yourself to a lot of unnecessary trouble, which in some ways is a result. although that was not intended, so for that I apologise. I was referring to remainers in general not specifically to contribuions on this thread. It is becoming that virtually whatever one reads in the media - which more than often gives rise to a post here - will have one or other of those words used in some comment from a remain reader of that article. The current intention elsewhere being to attempt to associate the leave idea with extremists who are only out to cause trouble, in the hope of persuading people to change their beliefs.
The post in question attempts to achieve the same thing. Personally I couldn’t give a flying what anyone calls me, but I do care what they call a neighbour who may hold the same opinion as me. MPs on the other hand are fair game on either side of the divide.

No harm done.
I must admit I was expecting more in the way of name calling. We must both be sensitive souls who care about the language used by extremists!
I think there are valid arguments to remain, and to leave, but get upset at lies and misrepresentations of the truth. And I agree there is no need for name calling…mostly anyway.
